2. Which of these science-fiction shows is NOT British?

Answer: 'The X-Files'

'The X-Files' was set and produced in America. It was first broadcast in 1993 and followed two FBI agents as they investigated cases with alien or supernatural elements. The other three TV shows are British. "Doctor Who"'s 826th episode was broadcast on 25th December 2015.

The Doctor is a time-travelling alien who has adventures throughout space and time. 'Red Dwarf' is a comedy that centres on Lister, the last human alive in the universe, his hologram roommate, a robot, and the Cat. 'Humans' is slightly different to the other three options; it looks at the role of technology in the near-future where robots have been perfected to look - and act - like humans.

4. In a 1997 episode of "The Simpsons" Homer is stunned to receive a parking ticket from New York City after the family car goes missing. The Simpsons discovered their car to be illegally parked at which NYC landmark, infamously destroyed in 2001?

Answer: World Trade Center

The episode is titled "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson". In the episode Homer is required to wait by the car for a parking attendant to remove the locking device. In a comic scene, Homer drinks too much crab juice and the nearest available facilities are at the tops of the WTC towers.

When the first restroom is out of order, Homer races across the plaza and up the second tower, only to see from the top that he has missed the parking attendant (and has earned an additional ticket). The WTC towers were destroyed in a terrorist attack in 2001.

More than 2,700 people tragically lost their lives, including NYC firefighters, police officers and members of the Port Authority who responded to the emergency.

Answer: Baseball

Jim Brockmire (Azaria) was the youngest professional baseball broadcaster in history (within the confines of the show). The show is careful not to mention the real-life Major League Baseball, instead referring to "The Big Show" or the major leagues, but no specific team names or trademarked logos.

In the pilot, he had a meltdown at the ballpark and then left baseball broadcasting for 10 years. He then returned to a small-time minor league club where he worked to earn his way back up the ladder.

9. Which Tyler starred in the show "Criminal Minds"?

Answer: Aisha Tyler

Aisha played Dr. Tara Lewis on the CBS crime drama about a bureau of agents in the F.B.I.'s Behavioral Analysis Unit (B.A.U.) that pursue mentally deranged criminals. Dr. Tara Lewis is a forensic psychologist, and she replaced the character Kate Callahan who was played by Jennifer Love Hewitt who left the show after one season, due to the actress's pregnancy. What's interesting about Aisha Tyler replacing Hewitt is that the two ladies played best friends and co-workers on the TV show "Ghost Whisperer." Tyler is a director also, and directed an episode of "Criminal Minds" in seasons 13 and 14.
