Answer: Enoch "Nucky" Thompson

The character Enoch Thompson is based on Enoch L. Johnson, a political figure and racketeer who controlled the town during Prohibition. He ran the city from 1911-1941.

Answer: Albert "Chalky" White

Michael Kenneth Williams is also known as Omar Little in another HBO original series, "The Wire".

Van Alden is a controlling, hypocritical agent trying to close down the places in town that are shipping and distilling alcohol.

Nucky uses Eli a lot to cover up some of his illegal acts. He also has him do some of his dirty work as, being a sheriff, nobody suspects him even though he is Nucky's brother.

Answer: Terrence Winter

Winter wrote or co-wrote 25 episodes of the series. He also was a writer for the show "Sister, Sister".
