O'Neill grabs the device he had been building and runs to the power room and tries to plug in the device. Daniel tries to stop him, but O'Neill tells him that it is "euge", which Daniel translates as 'good'.

Jack: "Well, apparently I have lost the falatus to speak properly. That wasn't a joke, I didn't do that on purpose."

Teal'c: "Several times now Colonel O'Neill has used strange words in place of common terms."

Daniel: "Okay, well, what was that word you just used?"

Teal'c: "I believe it was falatus."

Daniel: "Okay, sounds kinda close to Medieval Latin. So, possibly a derivation, maybe even a root. Faculatus is Latin for ability; you said you've 'lost the falatus to speak properly'."

"Window of Opportunity" -- Jack and Teal'c are stuck in a time loop due to Malachi's meddling with the Ancient device. In order for Daniel to translate the writings on the device, he needs Jack and Teal'c to remember the translations since Daniel forgets everything he translated every time the loop starts over again.

Daniel: "The machine surrenders ..."

Teal'c: "That is incorrect, Daniel Jackson."

Jack: "The word abicierum means give up, not surrender."

"The Fifth Race" -- Jack is entering full-blown Ancient mode.

Jack: "Ego indeo navo locas."

Daneil: "Okay, ego means 'I'."

Jack: "Indeo."

Daniel: "Need."

Jack: "Navo."

Daniel: "Locas, locas, locas. Locatia. Location. You need a new location. You need a new location?"

"The Fifth Race" -- Jack is instructing Teal'c on the finer points of boxing when he slips in another Ancient word.

Jack: "Keep your hands up, you gotta keep moving your, your feet moving and er, bend your cozars, keep your cozars bent."

Teal'c: "I am unfamiliar with that word."

Jack: "What, cozars? Cozars, you gotta bend your cozars."

Teal'c: "I believe you are referring to your legs, O'Neill."

"The Lost City, Part II" -- O'Neill has had the whole Ancient database downloaded into his brain again...on purpose this time. Jack is working on a crossword puzzle instead of helping Daniel translate the Ancient tablet.

Daniel (looking at the puzzle): "Thirteen across, you wrote 'taonas'."

Jack: "Yeah? So? What's it mean?"

Daniel: "Well I don't know - you tell me. Eight down you wrote 'proclarush'."

Sam: "What's eight down?"

Daniel: "Umm ... 'label'. There's empty spaces - I think the answer's supposed to be 'identification'. Thirteen across is 'sphere' ... Jack, this is it!"

Jack: "Now, see, I assume we still speak the same language ... mostly."

Daniel: "'Sphere' - planet. 'Label' - name."

Jack: "Following - still - you - not!"

Daniel: "Proclarush Taonas. I think you wrote the name of the planet where we'll find the lost city in the crossword."

Later on Daniel translates Proclarush Taonas as 'lost in fire'.

"The Fifth Race" --

Jack [Looking at the monitor]: "Nu ani anquietas."

Daniel: "What?"

Jack: "Nu ani anquietas. Hic qua videum."

Daniel: "Jack, are you reading this?" [Referring to the circle of symbols on the monitor]

Jack: "I don't know, you tell me."

Daniel: "Well, I don't know, I haven't been able to associate sounds to the symbols. Do you know what this means?"

Jack: "No, I'm just looking at it and the words just pop right into my fran. Does anybody think this is odd?"

"Fallen" -- Daniel has been kicked out of his ascended state by the other Ancients so Jonas has been working with him on the translation of the tablet found on Abydos.

Jonas: "Oh, so, uh...there are extensive writings. All of them are in the oldest known Ancient dialects. All of them have yet to be translated, but, uh, so far, we haven't found any signs of any advanced weapons or power sources. I mean, the original name of the city is Vis Uban which does translate as 'place of great power', but there's no indication that we're gonna find any means of defeating Anubis there."

"The Lost City, Part II" -- Jack's Ancient brain has led SG-1 to the Antarctic outpost where Jack saves the day again, but at a great cost. They put him into the stasis chamber where Jack says "Aveo amacus."

Daniel (translates): "'Goodbye'."

Carter: "We can't just leave him like this. I mean, there has to be a way to reverse the process. The answer has to be here somewhere."

Daniel: "I don't think this is it, Sam."

Carter: "What do you mean?"

Daniel: "The dome's too small. It's like Taonas. It's obviously not a city, it's just an outpost of some kind."

Carter: "This isn't Atlantis?"

Daniel: "I don't think so."

Teal'c: "If this is not the lost city, then where is it?"

Answer: wrong

"The Fifth Race" -- This is the first Ancient word that Jack speaks.

Carter: "Sir, are you okay?"

Jack: "I'm fine, just fine. A little tired maybe."

Hammond: "Colonel, are you sure you're okay?"

Jack: "I am absolutely fine. There is nothing cruvas with me."

[They all stare at Jack]

Jack: "What?"

Daniel: "You just said there's 'nothing cruvas' with you."

Jack: "I did not."

Daniel: "Yes, you did."

Jack: "No I didn't."

Daniel: "Yes, you did."

Jack: "Didn't."

Daniel: "Did."

Jack: "Didn't."

Daniel: "Did."

Jack: "Cruvas, what is that?"

Daniel: "I don't know. Um... well, I'm guessing in the context of what you're saying you were trying to say that there's nothing wrong with you."
