Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "Pokemon Gold/Silver", which Legendary Dog (Raikou, Entei or Suicune) can be battled without having to search for it in the wild?

Answer: None of them

Of course the correct answer is that neither of them can be battled without having to search for it. However in "Crystal" Version, Suicune can be battled without having to search for it in the wild, only in "Crystal" though and after you get the Clear Bell from the Director in Goldenrod City.
2. Where can Ho-oh be found in the "Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen" Versions?

Answer: Navel Rock

Lugia and Ho-oh can be found in Navel Rock in "Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen". The Navel Rock is accessible only from an event. The Whirl Islands and Tin Tower don't exist in "Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen" and the Lost Cave does not have a legendary Pokemon in it. The event is gone now so the only way to get to the Navel Rock is by cheating.
3. In "Pokemon Platinum" you can use a special item to find Rotom's five different forms. What is that item called?

Answer: Secret Key

The Secret Key was used to find Rotom's five different forms. If you had downloaded the event (which is gone now) you could go to the Team Galactic Headquarters in Eterna City, use the Secret Key at the top left corner and find a secret room with Rotom's five forms in it.
4. In "Pokemon Platinum" after you got Shaymin in your party, you could unlock a special item. That item could change Shaymin into its Sky Form. What is that item called?

Answer: Gracidea Flower

The Gracidea Flower could change Shaymin into its Sky Form only in "Pokemon Platinum". The Oak's Letter was used to capture Shaymin, not transform it. Remember that Shaymin will change back into its Land Form at night, when it's frozen in battle or when it is deposited into a PC.

At Sky Form, Shaymin's attack, special attack and speed are higher, with the price of it's defenses being lower. Also remember that in the "Diamond/Pearl" versions, Shaymin does not have a Sky Form.
5. Moltres could be found at the Victory Road in "Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow". Where can you find Moltres in the "FireRed/LeafGreen" versions?

Answer: Mt. Ember

Moltres is located at Mt. Ember in "Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen", it can be found roaming the wild in "Pokemon Platinum" after you get the National Dex. Faraway Island is an event-only place where Mew could be found. Moltres is probably the last legendary bird you will find in "FireRed/LeafGreen" as the other two, Zapdos and Articuno can be found earlier in the game.
6. In "Pokemon Emerald", a Legendary Pokemon stopped a destructive fight between two other legendary Pokemon. But first you had to find that legendary Pokemon, where was it?

Answer: Sky Pillar

Rayquaza was the Legendary Pokemon that stopped the battle between Groudon and Kyogre, but first you had to find it at the top of the Sky Pillar where it was resting. The Cave of Origin is where you find Wallace, the league Champion. The Battle Frontier is only accessible after the Elite 4 are beaten.
7. From the Pokemon Versions "Red/Blue/Yellow" until "Platinum", three of these Pokemon always had to be searched for in the wild (an example is Cresselia). Which Pokemon am I talking about?

Answer: Raikou, Entei and Mesprit

Suicune could be battled without having to search for it in "Pokemon Crystal". Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno only had to be searched for in "Platinum". In "Pokemon Emerald", if you had the Eon Ticket you could travel to Southern Island and find either Latios or Latias (depends on which one you have chosen after beating the Elite 4) without having to search for it.
8. From the Pokemon Versions "Red/Blue/Yellow" until "Platinum", three event-only Pokemon could be found with glitches. Which three Pokemon am I talking about?

Answer: Mew, Celebi and Darkrai

In the "Red/Blue/Yellow" versions, you could perform the so called "Mew Trick" to find a wild level 7 Mew. In the "Gold/Silver/Crystal" versions, you could perform the "Celebi Trick" to transform a Sneasel into a legitimate Celebi. In "Pokemon Platinum", you could perform the "Tweaking Glitch" and travel to Newmoon Island to find Darkrai, don't try it though because if you get stuck in the void you won't be able to come out. Deoxys and Jirachi can not be found with glitches in the versions "Red/Blue/Yellow" until "Platinum".
9. In "Pokemon Platinum", which of these Legendary Pokemon when downloaded from the event, would unlock new things in the game?

Answer: The TRUE Regigigas

The TRUE Regigigas would unlock Regirock, Regice and Registeel in "Pokemon Platinum" when downloaded. The REAL Arceus was a Toys R Us event for "Pokemon Platinum" but did not unlock new things in it. Mew and Celebi were not events for "Platinum". The TRUE Regigigas was given away as an event of the 11th movie.
10. From the versions "Red/Blue/Yellow" until "Platinum", which Legendary Pokemon could be found at the highest level?

Answer: Arceus

Mewtwo can be found at level 70 in Pokemon Versions "Red/Blue/Yellow" and "FireRed/LeafGreen" in the Cerulean Cave. Lugia can be found at level 70 in "Gold", "Crystal" and "FireRed/LeafGreen" and Rayquaza can be found at level 70 in "Sapphire/Ruby" at the Sky Pillar. That leaves Arceus which is the correct answer, it can be found at level 80 in "Diamond/Pearl" and "Platinum" in the Hall of Origin.
