Bug Pokemon Trivia Quiz

This quiz is about bug Pokemon. Bug type is my absolute favorite type of Pokemon and I try to have one whenever I play! If you don't know your bug types, then this won't be so easy! These bugs can be found in "Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal".

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What bug Pokemon can only be found in the morning?

Answer: Ledyba

Since I don't wake up early enough to catch one in the morning, when I decided to start a new game, I set the clock so that at 3:00 PM, it would still be morning!
2. What two versions can Ledyba be found in?

Answer: Silver and Crystal

Ledyba can be found in the same places that Spinarak can be found in Gold and Crystal. Ledyba learns moves much slower than Spinarak, but evolves much earlier at level 18!
3. How can Scyther evolve?

Answer: By trading Scyther with a metal coat

It evovles into Scizor, which is a bug and steel type. The metal coat can also be traded with Onix to get a Steelix.
4. Which of the following is a bug type?

Answer: Pineco

It doesn't seem like it, but it's true! You can catch one in the Ilex Forest by headbashing trees. Might want to put this one to sleep or it'll self-destruct!
5. A guy on Ciawood Island gives you a Shuckle to look after. What type(s) is Shuckle?

Answer: Bug/Rock

Shuckle can produce a berry every day (If nothing else is attached to it). This can come in handy when giving the Miltank berries to make her feel better.
6. What bug type is featured in the card game at the Game Corner?

Answer: There isn't a bug featured in the card game

The four Pokemon featured in the card game are Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Poliwag, and Oddish. There aren't even bugs on the slot machines!
7. What bug type is also a grass type?

Answer: Parasect

Paras is also part grass. Ariados is bug/poison, Ledian is bug/flying, and Fortress is bug/steel.
8. What ghost type move can Spinarak learn naturally?

Answer: Night Shade

Psychic is a psychic move, Shadow Ball is only found in a TM, but Night Shade can be learned naturally! Just remember not to use Night Shade on normal type Pokemon!
9. True or False: Caterpie and Weedle both evolve at level 8.

Answer: False

Caterpie and Weedle both evovle at level 7, then Metapod and Kakuna both evovle at level 10. The end results are: Caterpie > Metapod > Butterfree, Weedle > Kakuna > Beedrill.
10. Venomoth, a bug and poison type, can learn at least one psychic move?

Answer: True

Try using a Psybeam on another Venomoth and watch em' faint! Doesn't seem possible that a poison type Pokemon could learn its weakness!
