Unfortunately, unless the player physically spots someone disarming one of his traps itemless, there's no way of knowing if this perk is in play or not.

Answer: Family Focus

Family Focus is something all Family members can use. It will reveal the auras of the Family member's teammates, important structures such as the generator and blood dishes, and Grandpa. For The Hitchhiker only, he can see his traps using Family Focus. If the aura of a trap looks discombobulated, it is most likely that a Victim has disarmed it, which can help The Hitchhiker act on that information.

If a Victim is snared in a trap, their location will be revealed map-wide to all players, Victim and Family. Clearly, the purpose of this is to help Family members respond to trapped Victims more efficiently.

Like Dinner Bell, successfully performing a sneak attack using Pack Animal will highlight their location to the other players in the game. Sneak attacks are quite difficult to perform, however, requiring tedious planning ahead of time and a fair degree of luck to pull off.
