The tambourine has little tiny cymbals on the side of it to make the metallic noise.
2. Oboe

Answer: oboe

The oboe is a double-reed instrument from France.
3. Fagott

Answer: Bassoon

A bassoon is like an oboe in that they both use a double reed. However, the fingering is totally different.
4. Bratsche

Answer: Viola

The viola is a little larger than a violin. But it's hard to tell the difference!
5. Violine

Another (more common) word for violin in German is Geige, but Violine is also a correct word to use.
6. Trompete

Answer: trumpet

The trumpet is a member of the brass family.
7. Posaune

Answer: Trombone

The trombone is one of the only brass instruments that does not use valves to change the sound. Instead, the player lengthens or shortens the air path within the instrument.
8. Pauken

Answer: Timpani

A drum is a basic instrument that is usually a cirle with a skin stretched across it. A timpani is a very large drum whose pitch can be changed fairly easily using a foot pedal.
9. Klarinette

Answer: clarinet

A clarinet looks a little like an oboe, but the clarinet uses a single reed.
10. Saxophon

Answer: saxophone

A saxophone and a clarinet are 'cousins' in that it's fairly easy for a player to switch between the two instruments.
