Answer: War with Fabletown

Geppetto, Rodney, Pinocchio, The Snow Queen, The Nome King, Bright Day, and Hansel all gather into a meeting to discuss starting a war with Fabletown. The Snow Queen presents a plan to destroy not only Fabletown, but the world as well. The meeting began in "Fables" #52, which came out in 2006.

King Cole arrives shortly after the Arabian Fables enter Fabletown and sets about beginning negotiations between Prince Charming and Sinbad. Sinbad and King Cole strike up a great friendship, which allows negotiations to go forward, with the foremost concern being Sinbad's keeping of slaves, which Prince Charming frowns upon. King Cole first used his Arabic in "Fables" #42, which debuted in 2005.

Ichabod was loyal to the Adversary and intended on betraying Fabletown to him. Bigby Wolf and his secret agent, Cinderella, confronted him in France, where Bigby smashed a heavy bust of a headless horseman. These events happened in "Fables" #22, which went on sale in 2004.

To a regular-sized human they may be dollhouses, but to a small Fable like Jill, who accompanied Jack on his escape to Hollywood, they're dream mansions. Despite her many houses, Jill is depressed, but Jack ignores her mood. Jack spent his money on the dream house in "Fables" #34, which debuted in 2005.

He confronts Bigby with this information, drawing the false conclusion that they're all vampires. Although Bigby erects and carries out an elaborate scheme, Bluebeard later shoots the man in the head. These events happened in "Fables" #12-13, which went on sale in 2003.

Very strong spells are used to keep the Farm out of notice of regular humans, and since nobody reported a gunshot, Snow finds the evidence suspicious. Rose Red, however, could care less. Snow thought something was amiss in the sixth issue of "Fables", which went on sale in 2002.

Mayor Cole is helped by his second-in-command, Snow White. He is eventually replaced as mayor by Prince Charming, and becomes an ambassador to some Arabic-speaking Fables. He first appears in "Fables" #3, which went on sale in 2002.

During a late night full of work, Prince Charming uses his wiles to attempt to seduce Beauty, but she'll have none of it. Even after hundreds of years of marriage, she still loves and remains faithful to her husband, and warns Prince Charming that if he tries anything like that again, he'll face an angry Beast. Prince Charming sought to commit an indiscretion in "Fables" #43, which went on sale in 2006.

Tired of the way Jack has been treating her, Jill rats him out to the sheriff of Fabletown, Beast, who promptly arrives to tell Jack that it's all over. Enraged, Jack dares him to fight, saying "Try to throw down with me and I'll mop the floor with you!" Of course, this makes Beast transform from his human form to his scarier Beast form. The two met up again in "Fables" #35, which went on sale in 2005.

While most of Fabletown is accepting of the first Fable to arrive on the shores of America for many years, Bigby Wolf is suspicious. His fears are confirmed when Red is found to really be the powerful sorceress Baba Yaga. Red showed up at Fabletown's gate in "Fables" #20, which went on sale in 2004.

A violent nobleman who nonetheless supported Fabletown financially, Bluebeard had a tendency to murder his wives on their wedding night. He and Rose Red were secretly engaged, but it was all a ploy by Rose Red and Jack Horner to gain a lot of money with little effort and little time. Bluebeard first appeared in "Fables" #2, which debuted in 2002.

A former member of Fabletown, Hansel has spent many centuries persecuting and killing suspected witches, and was picked to be the Empire's ambassador to Fabletown to frustrate the Fables. "You shouldn't have to be married to a shrew." says Beauty as Beast gratefully chows down on muffins. Prince Charming had alerted Beauty to the fact that everyone thinks she nags her husband incessantly. Beauty and Beast share a romantic moment with muffins in "Fables" #43, which debuted in 2006.

During the waning days of World War II, the Nazis were working on recreating Frankenstein's monster, but were only able to churn out one specimen. They also captured Bigby Wolf and intended to use his blood to create wolfmen, but all did not go according to plan. Bigby fought the other monster in issue #29 of "Fables", which went on sale in 2004.

"Thought I was gonna die!" says the goblin as he and his army buddy Throk travel through the woods. Ogren sees a human woman behind his wife's back, which is where he experienced chicken in the first place. Ogren complains in "Fables" #36, which went on sale in 2005.

A glamour is a minor spell that allows an unhuman being such as a troll or a dwarf to appear human. Prince Charming's butler Hobbes uses a glamour to appear human, but they're not free. In fact, Prince Charming finds that he can't keep his promise because of their high price. Prince Charming starts making promises in issue #20, which debuted in 2004.

Old King Cole, mayor of Fabletown, is shocked at this news, as Snow is a workaholic and never takes vacation days. He is even more shocked to hear that Bigby is going along, but it turns out that the pair were just following Bluebeard's orders. Snow made the startling proclamation in the fourteenth issue of "Fables", which went on sale in 2003.
