Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the meeting about?

Answer: War with Fabletown

Geppetto, Rodney, Pinocchio, The Snow Queen, The Nome King, Bright Day, and Hansel all gather into a meeting to discuss starting a war with Fabletown. The Snow Queen presents a plan to destroy not only Fabletown, but the world as well. The meeting began in "Fables" #52, which came out in 2006.
2. Who objects to the Snow Queen's plan?

Answer: Rodney and Pinocchio

The Snow Queen's plan calls for four plagues to hit the Earth before the actual invaders move in; she thinks that this will be an easy conquest. However, Pinocchio and Rodney, both who have lived in the mundane world, opine that humans and Fabletown would put up a larger fight. The duo disagree in "Fables" #53, which debuted in 2006.
3. Which of the following is NOT a plague mentioned by the Snow Queen?

Answer: War

The Snow Queen's plan calls for the invading force to not actually appear until a long winter has happened, some plagues have been deployed, and worldwide famine takes hold. Most of the people at the meeting endorse the plan in "Fables" #53, which hit stands in 2006.
4. Who is the new ambassador to Fabletown?

Answer: Hansel

A former member of Fabletown, Hansel has spent many centuries persecuting and killing suspected witches, and was picked to be the Empire's ambassador to Fabletown to frustrate the Fables. Hansel often dresses all in black and constantly wears a hat, and he appeared in his new post in "Fables" #54, which went on sale in 2006.
5. What is Jack after?

Answer: Santa's nice and naughty lists

Many governmental organizations would pay well to have their hands on a list of people who may have grown up to become criminals, but Santa doesn't allow Jack to get away. Jack tried his failed raid in "Fables" #56, which debuted in 2007.
6. Snow wants to visit Mr. North.

Answer: True

Bigby is less than keen on the idea, but recognizes that his children should know their grandfather. It is not a joyous reunion for father or son, due to Bigby's repeated attempts to murder his father. Snow had the urge to go to her father-in-law's house in "Fables" #57, which went on sale in 2007.
7. Who pilots the flying carpet?

Answer: Boy Blue and Rose Red

Boy Blue and Rose Red figure out the contraption rather quickly, and soon have a rapid means of transportation, starting from "Fables" #56, which debuted in 2007. Snow and Bigby later use the carpet to see Mr. North in the next issue, which also came out in 2007.
8. Ambrose is on the naughty list.

Answer: False

Ambrose, the shy and meek son of Snow and Bigby is on the nice list and is picked to stay up all night in order to see Santa. He doesn't get any presents, but gets to ask Santa a question, much to his delight. This happens in "Fables" #56, which hit the stands in 2007.
9. According to Bigby, who's the leader of the pack?

Answer: Darien

Just after Bigby sends his children to make their first kill as wolves, he takes Darien aside and tells him that he's the leader, so he has to shoulder some extra responsibility. Darien assumes the task in "Fables" #57, which hit shelves in 2007.
10. What are Bigby's brothers turned into?

Answer: Goldfish

Bigby's brothers try to eat their own nieces and nephews, for which they are turned into goldfish and kept as the childrens' pets. The incident also drives a wedge between Snow and Mister North, and further sours relations between Bigby and his father. The kids get some new pets in "Fables" #58, which debuted in 2007.
