Answer: George Weasley

After the Second Wizarding War, George Weasley marries Angelina Johnson, star chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team during (at least) the 1980-81, 1982-83, 1984-85 and the 1986-87 school years. The pair named their first-born child Fred Weasley II after the Gryffindor hero who fought valiantly in the Battle of Hogwarts. They also have a child named Roxanne Weasley, their second child.

There is a long silence when the Sorting Hat announces that Albus is in Slytherin, followed by rumors and gossip. However, this lets him be with his new friend, Scorpius. Rose states that this is "wrong" and "not how it's supposed to be", which foreshadows a later event in the play. When Albus and Scorpius change history, a new timeline is created where Albus is in Gryffindor. Unfortunately, there are other things very wrong in that timeline, so maybe Slytherin is where Albus is supposed to be.

Ginevra Molly "Ginny" Weasley is the youngest Weasley child and the only girl. A year younger than Harry, she is seen at the beginning and end of the first book, and then plays a larger part in the second, when she is responsible for opening the Chamber of Secrets. Ginny is an excellent Quidditch player. She joins the Gryffindor team, playing Chaser or Seeker (when Harry is unavailable). After graduation, she played for the Holyhead Harpies before retiring to write about Quidditch for the "Daily Prophet".

Rose Granger-Weasley has inherited her mother's ambition and intellect and the Quidditch skills from her father's side of the family. She is a childhood friend of Albus, but that changes when he befriends Scorpius and gets sorted into Slytherin. Scorpius has a crush on her, but realizes he has a lot of work to do if he wants to turn her hatred/pity into "a palace of love".

In one of those realities, Ron is married to Padma Patil, Parvati's twin sister.

The Trolley Witch claims was offered the job of ensuring that students stay on the Hogwarts Express by Ottaline Gambol, who was Minister for Magic from 1827-1835. Gambol introduced the Hogwarts Express in 1830 as way to safely get students to Hogwarts. As Albus quickly (and correctly) points out, that means she has been doing her job for approximately one hundred and ninety years. While the Trolley Witch claims a perfect record before Albus and Scorpius, she does remember who has tried and failed to leave the train: Sirius Black and Fred and George Weasley.

Answer: Minister for Magic

The Minister for Magic is the head of the Ministry of Magic, the wizard government. The Ministry is initially portrayed as inept and bureaucratic, before becoming corrupt and under the control of Voldemort. After Voldemort's death, Kingsley Shacklebolt becomes Minister, and reforms the Ministry. The Minister for Magic is responsible for interacting with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, informing them that magic exists and working with them when necessary. While Hermione may be Minister for Magic, her husband Ron works at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, the joke shop his brothers started. In one of the alternate timelines created during the story, Hermione is the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts.

Answer: The Minister for Magic's office

The Time-Turner is hidden in a magical bookshelf that requires several riddles to be answered in series. Scorpius eventually finds the correct book, "Shadows and Spirits". Theodore Nott was a classmate of Harry Potter and friends. He was a Slytherin, and was able to see the Thestrals, presumably from witnessing his mother's death.

Answer: Draco Malfoy

Scorpius Malfoy is the son of Draco and Astoria Malfoy. Astoria is in poor health, and dies the summer before Scorpius' third year at Hogwarts. Astoria suffered from a "blood malediction", the result of a curse placed on one of her ancestors. The pregnancy and birth of Scorpius weakened her, and Draco hid his family in seclusion so she could recover her strength. This seclusion gave rise to the rumors that Scorpius was the child of Voldemort, and not Draco.

Some time whilst Amos Diggory was in St Oswald's Home For Old Witches And Wizards, Delphi performed a strong Confundus Charm on Diggory to make him believe that Delphini was, indeed, his niece. It is possible that she followed the charm up with some simple Muggle manipulation, but that is unfounded speculation.

While the prototype can only stay in the past for five minutes, the more expensive, fancy Time-Turner that Draco possesses has no such limitation. It was made for Draco's father, Lucius. Due to the rumors that Scorpius is Voldemort's child as a result of a Time-Turner involved pregnancy, Harry is careful not to reveal how he obtained the device.

Albus and Scorpius try to save the life of Cedric Diggory by making him lose or quit the tournament. Unfortunately, their efforts to change history have greater consequences than they realize. When they do create a timeline where Cedric is saved, he becomes a Death Eater who kills Neville Longbottom at the Battle of Hogwarts and enables Voldemort to win.

Durmstrang and Beauxbatons are the other European schools in the Triwizard Tournament. Ilvermorny is in North America and Mahoutokoro is in Japan. This first attempt to change history is not very successful. Albus and Scorpius discover that their Time-Turner may be able to travel years into the past, but they can only remain there for about 5 minutes. And while they are able to stop Cedric from succeeding in the first task, his fate is unchanged. Unfortunately, Hermione witnessed their sabotage and suspects Viktor Krum and Durmstrang of cheating, which has drastic consequences.

The conversation between Harry and Bane the centaur happens in Act Two, Scene Five. In the next scene, Albus and Scorpius use the Time-Turner for the first time. In the world of Harry Potter, the Ministry of Magic classifies centaurs as "Beasts" at their request; centaurs do not want to be categorized as "Beings", since that label also applies to hags and vampires. There is a Centaur Liaison Office at the Ministry of Magic, but no centaur has ever attempted to use it.

Delphini "Delphi" Diggory is actually the daughter of Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange. She was technically orphaned when her parents were killed at the Battle of Hogwarts and Bellatrix's husband, Rodolphus, was sent to Azkaban. She was raised by Euphemia Rowle, who was well-paid for her efforts. Rowle had a pet Augurey, a greenish-black vulture-like bird that cries to predict rain, or even death. Delphi's real name isn't Diggory: she uses a Confundus Charm to pose as Amos Diggory's niece and caretaker. The tattoo enables Scorpius to figure out Delphi's ruse, as "the Augurey" was an important figure in the alternate timeline where Voldemort was in power. There were earlier clues as well. When Delphi first meets Albus, she says that she was teased at school (Act One, Scene Six), but later tells Scorpius she was too sick to attend Hogwarts (Act Two, Scene Fourteen).

Answer: Dolores Umbridge

Dolores Umbridge was Senior Undersecretary to the Minister for Magic and installed as the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". She eventually becomes the "High Inquisitor" of Hogwarts, and eventually Headmistress of Hogwarts, as a result of the Ministry of Magic's suspicions that Dumbledore is rebelling against the Ministry. While she favors pink and cute things, she uses cruel and inhumane punishments against the students, and is an ineffective teacher.

Delphi has a black tattoo of an augurey on her back because when she was younger and growing up with Euphemia Rowle, her guardian had an augurey as a pet who her foster parent cried over because allegedly, Delphi would "meet a sticky end". This prophecy happened to be fulfilled, as Delphi was thrown into Azkaban after her crimes against humanity.

Before leaving for Hogwarts that year, Albus was given two gifts: his father's baby blanket and a love potion from his Uncle Ron. Unimpressed with either, Albus throws the blanket and it hits the potion, which results in the blanket getting soaked by the love potion. Albus and Scorpius use that accident to their advantage, stealing tincture of Demiguise from Bathilda Bagshot's unlocked house and using it to write a message, which remains unseen until the love potion spills on the blanket and reacts to the tincture of Demiguise.

Severus Snape was a Death Eater secretly working for the Order of the Phoenix. He loved Harry's mother Lily. That love is both the source of his loyalty to Dumbledore and his resentment towards Harry. Snape is one of the few Death Eaters that is capable of casting the Patronus Charm, Expecto Patronum. His patronus is the same as Lily Potter's: a doe. Harry Potter described Snape as "probably the bravest man I ever knew", and named his second son, Albus Severus Potter, after the man. In "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child", Snape wants Scorpius to tell Albus Severus that he is proud that Albus carries his name.

Harry tells Albus that he is afraid of the dark and doesn't like small spaces. And he doesn't like pigeons, which he calls "nasty, pecky, dirty things". The thing that scares him the most, however, is being a dad, since he didn't have one himself growing up. Harry also tells Albus that they are more alike than Albus thinks.

The Potters were not the only famous residents of Godric's Hollow. Bathilda Bagshot, the famous author of "A History of Magic", also lived there. Because she was never one to lock her doors, the boys are able to raid her house for the necessary magical ingredients to send a message to their parents. Godric's Hollow is home to a war memorial that changes to a statue of James, Lily, and Harry Potter when wizards come close and no muggles (non-magical people) are around.
