4. In "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" (2001), the fellowship run from which creature in the Mines of Moria?
From Quiz Of Course It's Not A Dragon
Answer:
Balrog
In a memorable scene, Gandalf the Grey protects the fellowship by fending off the Balrog, allowing Frodo and the ring to escape the deep Mines of Moria. Holding on for his life, Gandalf has to let go and fall into a chasm pulled down by the demon chasing behind. It is discovered in the second film, "The Two Towers", that once the Bridge of Khazad-dûm collapsed, Gandalf and the Balrog continued fighting to the top of the mountain Zirakzigil. After an extensive battle, both Gandalf and the Balrog fell. Gandalf, however, was sent back to Middle Earth as Gandalf the White, a much more powerful wizard.
Nazgûls, also known as Ringwraiths, pursued Frodo and the Ring through most of the journey. Ents are tree creatures from Fangorn Forest, and Shelob is a spider-creature fought by Sam and Frodo in Cirith Ungol. They appeared in "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King" respectively.
