From Quiz
2015 Major League Baseball All-Star Game

Answer: Great American Ball Park

From 1912 to 1970 the Reds played at Crosley Field and from 1970 to 2002 the team played at Riverfront Stadium. Construction of Great American Ball Park began in 2000 and its total cost was around $290 million. The measurements for the field from home plate were approximately 328 feet down the left field line, 404 feet to center field, and 325 feet to right field.

2. In addition to the usual festivities, the 2015 MLB All-Star Game featured a former Cincinnati Reds player that had been previously banned from participating in any MLB event. Who was this player that played his last game in 1986?

From Quiz 2015 Major League Baseball All-Star Game

Answer: Pete Rose

When Pete Rose retired as a player in 1986 he was the all-time leader in hits with 4,256, game played with 3,562, and at-bats with 14,053. In addition to his playing career from 1963 to 1986 he was also the manager of the Cincinnati Reds from 1984 to 1989. He was declared permanently ineligible to participate in baseball related activities after an investigation concluded that he gambled on baseball games including games involving his own team. At the 2015 All-Star Game Rose was honored along with Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan, and Barry Larkin as all-time greats of the Cincinnati Reds franchise.

3. Fan voting determined the starters for the 2015 MLB All-Star Game. Which third baseman from the Toronto Blue Jays received 14,090,188 votes, the most of any player for the 2015 MLB All-Star Game?

From Quiz 2015 Major League Baseball All-Star Game

Answer: Josh Donaldson

An incredible 620 million votes were placed by fans for the 2015 All-Star Game which smashed the previous record of 391 million votes set in 2012. From Quiz 2015 Major League Baseball All-Star Game

Answer: Zack Greinke

Outside of the lead-off home run surrendered to Trout, Greinke pitched well in the All-Star Game as he didn't allow any other hits and struck out four batters in two innings. Mike Trout was awarded the All-Star Game Most Valuable Player Award for the second straight year.
