The first Major League All-Star game was played on July 6th, 1933 at Comiskey Park in Chicago. The 'Midsummer Classic' as it is called, pits the greatest of the American and National League against each other in one game. Each team must be represented by at least one player. The player who displays the most outstanding performance in this game will receive the All-Star Game MVP Award.
