Brian Till was a champion in 1990, and moved up to CART competition unsuccessfully before retiring to be a TV commentator. Jon Fogarty won the 2004 title while also winning it in 2002. Canadian driver David Empringham won the title twice back in 1993 and 1994 before moving up to Indy Lights and winning that championship in 1995. Jacques Villeneuve (I) won the title twice as well, back in 1981 and 1982. This is the brother of Gilles Villeneuve and the Uncle of CART and F1 Champion Jacques Villeneuve (II).
