'Angel' Season 4 Trivia

1. Right at the beginning of the episode, Fred is screaming, and it is not because some evil-thing is sucking her brains out! She has just had an article published and is excitedly telling her boyfriend, Charles Gunn. What page was her article on?

In this episode the gang decide to visit Lorne in Vegas as they are worried they haven't heard from him. Lorne is being forced by a gangster, Lee, to read people in the audience as they sing and inform Lee what ones have a good destinies. These people are then given a special chip to play a game that "the house always wins" which robs them of their destiny and makes them continue gambling. Angel, who has been bothering the manager, gets picked out too and while he is fixated on the slot machines, Gunn and Fred try to help Lorne. Only a divine intervention from Cordelia, that sees Angel hit the jackpot to save the day. When Angel gets brought before Lee, he smashes the glowing ball that is holding everyone's destinies and they are released.

After Connor removes the arrow from Cordy's leg, we see Gunn walking down the hotel staircase. Gunn: "Is she ok?" Connor: "She's lost a lot of blood." Cordy: "Where's Angelus?" Gunn: "He killed Lilah." Cordy: "Oh, God." Cordy appears to be shocked by the news, but it is all an act. She is the one who really killed Lilah. She stuck a knife in her neck at the end of "Calvary". Gunn and Wes find Angelus drinking from Lilah's neck wound and assume he killed her.

He later went on to star on the hit series "Lost" and "Hawaii Five-O". Linwood: "This is outrageous. Are you actually telling me that you went over my head?" Lilah: "Just under it.. actually."

After Gunn spots Lilah on the monitor, he rushes down to the basement, followed by the rest of the group. Gunn stands watch over Angelus, whilst Wesley follows Lilah into the sewers. When he confronts her, she gives him a book which might help. Wesley realises that it is the same text that he and Fred were looking at, but this one has extra pages with information on the Beast.
