At this point, Angel had been submerged inside an iron tomb for about three months. He was hallucinating from savage hunger, binding, and despair. It seemed like a dream sequence and when he realized it was not real, we saw him looking out of his tiny window, eyes open wide. Everyone he most cared about, except for Buffy, appeared in the dream. Even the unintentionally traitorous Wesley was there, and he raised his glass to "family".

It was Justine who'd twisted Connor's mind and helped him sink Angel. So, Wesley held her prisoner until she located Angel, and then forced her to dive down and retrieve him. After returning to shore he handcuffed her near the beach, flung the key to her and drove away.

Linwood: "This is outrageous. Are you actually telling me that you went over my head?"

Lilah: "Just under it.. actually."

Connor was up in his room, still pouting over being compared to Angel earlier. Fred brought him a snack, bologna sandwich no tomatoes, and a glass of milk. As he ate it, Fred commiserated with Connor about his childhood, but then informed it would be nothing compared to the pain he had coming for what he did to Angel.

He looked up confused, and she tasered him. She tasered him again while he was tied to a chair.

Wesley said this when he returned Angel to the hotel. He also told them Angel needed more blood, but that he was fresh out.

Connor freed himself from his bindings and attacked Fred and Gunn. After he'd incapacitated them,he turned to flee and found Angel blocking his path. Angel said slowly and specifically, "sit down".

Connor took Angel's measure, and said this not too convincingly. Angel responded with the question, "you really believe that?"

Angel said he believed him because the truth had a better sound to it, less nasal. Then he told him to get up and get out.

After Angel said to Fred that they needed to find Cordy no matter where she was, the screen shifted to her. She was up in the heavens somewhere, all beautiful and glowing, and delivered this line.
