This episode sees Wesley with a tied up and gagged Justine in a cupboard in his apartment. He is using her to help find Angel who is still trapped at the bottom of the ocean. Wesley eventually finds Angel and takes him back to the Hyperion after letting him feed of him. Fred and Gunn tie Connor up but he manages to escape. Angel stops him and tells him he loves him but he has to get out. Meanwhile, Cordelia is in a higher existence bored stiff.

Gunn does die at the hands of electric Gwen, but she brings him back to life. In this episode Angel is looking for the Axis of Pythea which he believes will help him find Cordelia. In this episode the gang decide to visit Lorne in Vegas as they are worried they haven't heard from him. Lorne is being forced by a gangster, Lee, to read people in the audience as they sing and inform Lee what ones have a good destinies. These people are then given a special chip to play a game that "the house always wins" which robs them of their destiny and makes them continue gambling. Angel, who has been bothering the manager, gets picked out too and while he is fixated on the slot machines, Gunn and Fred try to help Lorne. Only a divine intervention from Cordelia, that sees Angel hit the jackpot to save the day.

When Angel gets brought before Lee, he smashes the glowing ball that is holding everyone's destinies and they are released.

In this episode, Cordy, now returned from a higher existence, can't remember who she or anyone else is. She sings to Lorne but what Lorne reads from her makes him ill. He says that a big evil is coming and it's coming to stay. Cordelia flees with Connor, refusing to return to the hotel. Later, the gang find Lorne badly beaten, a brain burrowing demon has pulled what he read from Cordy's mind.

In this episode Fred discovers that one of her papers is going to be published and is asked to give a talk on it. While doing this a portal opens and tries to suck Fred in. She goes to see her old physics professor and finds books on portals and realises that it must have been him that sent her to Pylea.

While Angel battle a demon, Fred opens a portal to kill the professor, but to save her from having to do it, Gunn steps up and does it for her.

In this episode Connor goes to Lilah to get information on the beast but while he is there the Beast attacks. Wesley helps Lilah escape but Connor is trapped. Angel and the gang go back to rescue Connor but are attacked by a group of zombies, including Gavin.

The only way Angel knows how to escape is via The White Room, but when they get there the beast is sucking black fog from the little girl. before she dies, she transports the gang back to the hotel.

In this episode Angel, with the help of Gwen, find out that The Beast is trying to kill all five totems to remove elements from them. the find the last one alive but The Beast somehow manages to kill him and blocks out the sun with the five relics. The Beast also mentions that he knows Angelus and Wesley realises that they need to bring Angelus back in order to defeat The Beast.

In this episode Wesley brings a shaman that can remove souls and restore them. The gang build a cage to hold Angelus but the shaman tries to kill Angel but Angel kills him instead. Angel and the gang go looking for the beast and Angel defeats it. He and Cordy give in to their feelings and make love, but he says Buffy's name and turns into Angelus. It was all a dream, done by the shaman, Angelus lies in the cage laughing.
In the DVD release, Buffy's name was nowhere to be heard. I wonder why?

In this episode Angelus taunts the gang from his cage. Cordelia offers herself to Angelus for information and he tells them of High Priestesses but when the gang get there they are all dead. They decide the best plan is to restore Angel's soul. They go to the safe to get the jar holding his soul but it is gone.

In this episode Angelus tells the gang that The Beast has a master and the gang do a spell that should restore Angel's soul. Angel sings for Lorne who believes that Angel has returned but once their guard is down, he reveals that he is still Angelus and flees the hotel.

He comes back following Lilah who is pulled into a doorway by Cordy. Telling Cordy that Angelus is going to kill them all, Cordy replies "I know, why do you think I let him out" and stabs Lilah in the neck.

In this episode the gang return to the hotel and find Angelus feeding from Lilah. Wesley, unsure whether she will rise again, has to decapitate his former girlfriend. Wesley then gets an idea and helps break Faith out of prison and the two of them head after Angelus. Faith gets badly beaten by The Beast and Angelus and Angelus kills The Beast with it's own dagger, which unfortunately for him brings the sun back and Faith manages to escape.

In this episode Angelus finds himself speaking to The Beast's master in his head, and back at the hotel Cordelia is mouthing the words being spoken, her eyes pure white. Faith and Wesley manage to get some information from a drugged girl as to Angelus' whereabouts and go to face him. Angelus and Faith fight and at the end Angelus bites Faith. We later found out that Cordy was not really herself anymore.

In this episode we realise that Faith has injected herself with the drug Orpheus in a bid to stop Angelus. When Angelus bit Faith he became infected with the drug. Wesley gets them both back to the hotel where they are both unconscious. Connor wants to kill Angelus but at that moment Willow walks in, at Fred's request, as the only person ever to ensoul Angel. Willow tries a spell to find the jar holding Angel's soul but Cordelia is getting in the way from upstairs. Faith awakes from her coma in time to stop Connor from killing Angel. Angel's soul is eventually restored and Willow and Faith leave for Sunnydale. Just as Angel is telling everyone things are going to be okay, Cordelia comes downstairs, very heavily pregnant.

This episode sees Gunn help Gwen steal a trinket from a Japanese businessman that helps turn off her electrical fields. The two celebrate by sleeping together. At the hotel, Lorne tells everyone that he is going to the basement to do a ritual to give him back his empathic powers. Cordelia follows him down and as she approaches him with a knife the rest of the gang confront her.

In this episode, after being found out by the team, Cordelia escapes with Connor's help. Hiding out in an old building, Cordelia tells Connor he must help perform a ritual that will let their baby be born before the others find them. Angel seeks out Skip who tells them that this was all arranged, and Cordelia ascension to a higher plain was arranged in order for her to bring back whatever she is carrying inside her. Connor kidnaps a virgin to sacrifice for the ritual, and just as Angel bursts in on him and Cordelia, a light surrounds them both and becomes a woman. Angel and Connor bow before her.

In this episode Angel takes Jasmine back to The Hyperion where the whole team kneel down before her. She tells them they must destroy all the evil in the world. At a bowling alley the team take on a group of vamps but Jasmine get cut. Fred tries to clean her shirt and when she goes to offer a replacement she sees Jasmine's face is horrid and maggot ridden. Fred speaks to one of the earlier attackers who tells her she must stop Jasmine, but Fred gets caught by the rest of the team.

She flees from the hotel but sees Jasmine's face on TV in a cafe and all around her people are bowing down and worshiping her. It is revealed later in the season that Connor could always see her true form. Cordy never did see her.

In this episode the gang track Fred down to a book shop. She shoots Jasmine and the bullet passes straight through her and into Angel. Just as he is about to attack Fred he looks at Jasmine and sees the same as Fred. the two of them escape and set about trying to show the others.

They realise that Jasmine's blood is they key and that Cordelia must share the same blood. They take blood from Cordy as she lies in a coma and infect each member of the team, who all return to normal except Connor who calls down Jasmine's followers.

In this episode Angel and the team are hiding in the sewers to get away from Jasmine's followers. One of the gang they come across escapes and falls under Jasmine's influence and soon Connor and a group of followers find them. Wesley gets taken hostage by a demon that tells them that he knows the way to end Jasmine's power. Angel kills the demon and jumps through a portal to another dimension where he is met by lots of demons the same as the one he kills.

The rest of the team are taken by Jasmine.

Connor reveals this to the gang before rushing off to search for Cordelia. Jasmine has arranged for a satellite link-up all over the world to spread her word but just as she is about to start Angel appears through a portal with the demon's head. Angel cuts the demons mouth open and the demon speaks Jasmine's true name and everyone now sees her true face. On the street Jasmine tells Angel he has ruined the world's only chance of peace and attacks him.

He is saved by Connor who tells Jasmine he loves her then kills her. Angel heads back to The Hyperion where he has a visitor, Lilah.

The amulet is the one that Buffy gives to Spike in the last ever "Buffy" episode "Chosen". Lilah has returned to offer the Angel team an offer they can't refuse, Wolfram and Hart. She takes them on a tour to show them what they could have, labs for Fred, library for Wes, entertainment division for Lorne and the white room for Gunn.

When Angel is shown his office he sees Connor on a screen holding a shop full of people hostage. Angel goes to confront Connor, who also has Cordy, and Connor tells him Angel never loved him. Angel says he will prove he does before taking Connor down.

The gang all agree to take on Lilah's deal and Angel asks to see Connor one last time. the rest of the gang don't know who Connor is. We see Angel looking in a window at Connor, who can't remember any of his past life, settled happily with a new family.
