Some of those include the music, the decor, the landline phones (with cords!), a tube TV with antenna, lots of feathered hair, plenty of blue eye shadow, a poster for the movie "The Thing" and a reference to the movie "Poltergeist", which opened in 1982 and is used in a flashback scene.
