1. A new probation worker, who was introduced at the end of the previous episode, has taken over from Tony. What is her name?

Answer: Sally

Sally, the new probation worker, is actually Tony's girlfriend. Whilst on the job she befriends Simon in the hope that she'll be able to find out what happened to him.

Gary is played by Josef Altin. He only has a few scenes in this episode and will more than likely only be remembered for his odd relationship with his cap. The probation worker ends up killing him later on in the episode after the storm mutates him.

Whilst the others are sorting clothes, Jodie is brought in to talk her issues through with Kelly. Kelly tries to make an effort to talk to Jodie, but the two begin to argue and Kelly ends up head butting Jodie. This turns out to be a mistake as Kelly's hair begins to fall out. She tries to cover this by wearing a hat, which is stolen by Nathan, who therefore uncovers Kelly's secret.

Whilst Kelly was being pursued by the mad probation worker, the other members of the group are messing around in the community centre. Although told by Nathan that no one wants to hear about why she is there, Alisha begins to tell her elaborate story of parties and boys and gossip. She says that she was already banned from driving and that she was pulled over, whilst drunk, by the police. Attempting to perform suggestive acts on the breathalyzer so as to get out of trouble, this proved useless and she was sent to perform community service.

For whatever reason, these 6 teens have had recent run-ins with the law and so must perform community service. All dressed in orange jump-suits, they are briefed by their probation worker, who tells them that they have a chance to show everyone that they are not scum. His hopeful words are met with smart remarks from Nathan, ignorance from Alisha and attitude from Kelly.

Answer: Picking up litter

While the gang do have to paint over graffiti in a future episode, when they find Jeremy in the alley they are picking up litter. Later on in the episode we find out that he got a superpower in the storm and in fact he feels like a dog when he sees a Jack Russell. This stems from when he was a child and adored the family Jack Russell. Everyone's powers in the series are a reflection on their own personalities or a major event in their lives. Curtis, for example, made a huge mistake that cost him his career. Because of this, he has the power to turn back time when he feels great regret. Alisha is incredibly attractive and confident with it, so her power means that she is irresistible to the opposite sex when she touches them (and possibly women too, but she has never tried to use her power on a woman).

Answer: Curtis

The two had been flirtatious from the start. Whilst clearly a two way relationship, Curtis was reluctant to have sex with Alisha because of her power. After being released from her touch, Curtis is angry at Alisha for undermining his wishes and declares he will no longer be "looking at her". At the end of the episode, however, the two reconcile and Curtis tells Alisha that he has feelings for her.

Alisha tells Curtis that he visited her college to give a talk, and then laughs at the situation Curtis is now in. Nathan and Alisha both speculate on Curtis' story based on what they read in the paper, but this is rebuked by Curtis, who tells them that the truth is that he was caught in possession of cocaine. Although, as Alisha informs us, no one gets community service for possession, Curtis says that, because of his high profile, the police had to "set and example".

Nathan immediately sets out to cause as much trouble as possible. First, he meets the social worker's hopeful words by suggesting that some of the group *are* scum; particularly the group member Gary, who we learn has a very short temper. Nathan continues to undermine the probation worker's authority before asking "are we supposed to be able to understand that" upon hearing Kelly speak, claiming "It is just a noise".

In episode 4, when Curtis rewinds time back to before the group met, we see that this was one of the things that Nathan was not lying about. Whilst in a bowling ally, Nathan first helps himself to drinks from the fridge, before indulging in the pick n mix. The shop manager tries to reason with Nathan, but is met with abuse over how he, a male, was given the name Beverly. In his office, Beverly again tries to reason with Nathan, but with little success. He is therefore left with no options but to call the police.

Nathan again tries to wind people up by making light of the situation, which they all resent. Kelly tells us that she is there for fighting with a girl. After Nathan asks if the fight took place on a "Jeremy Kyle" set, she corrects him and tells him it was in Argos. Nathan now turns to Simon, whom he calls "weird kid". Nathan accuses Simon of looking like a panty sniffer and so comes to the conclusion that that is the reason why he is there. Simon, however, also corrects Nathan, telling him that he tried to burn someone's house down.

Following the conversation about why they are there, Nathan asks "what is up with this weather?" as a dark cloud looms overhead. The first ice ball to fall is enormous and crushes the car behind the probation worker. As many more begin to fall, the probation worker orders the group inside before anyone is hurt. Gary is already indoors after storming off to clean his hat after getting paint on it.

In the locker room, getting ready to leave, Kelly is brushing her hair back and hears Alisha insulting her even though she didn't say anything out loud. It takes her a while to realise she is hearing other people's thoughts, but eventually she has to convince everyone else when Tony comes after them all.

In this episode, Curtis' ability to turn back time allows us to see the night where he was caught with the drugs which landed him in community service. After his girlfriend is stabbed by a drug dealer, Curtis once again replays the episode, confidently putting right what he had done wrong before. However, saving himself from community service meant that Curtis was not present to turn back time after Tony, the probation worker, broke in as he had done in episode 1, and so the entire group were killed (apart from Nathan, who was still alive when found). Curtis therefore rewinds time once more and replays the event as it originally occurred.

Alisha is one of the last to discover her ability, as it is only active whilst in flesh contact with a male. Due to her stories about her past, many would think that she welcomed the power, but the extent of the lust is overwhelming and the men she touches become crudely explicit with the details of what they want to do to her - even the shy Simon. This power shows the bad side of what Alisha believed to have before the storm - a power over men.

Following a nearby strike of lightning, the group and the probation worker awaken as the storm begins to die down. The group notice strange moans and twitches from the probation worker, who tells them to go home. Whilst changing out of her orange jump-suit and doing her hair, Kelly thinks she hears fellow misfit Alisha say something, which Alisha denies. She is then convinced that she heard Alisha call her a "chav" and so confronts her. Alisha, however, looks confused and walks away. Kelly is left feeling confused about this incident, but the viewers may begin to realise that she has a special ability. This ability is to become more obvious to both Kelly and the audience throughout the next few episodes.

After talking with Curtis on the roof about his situation with Alisha and Sam, Nathan begins to hear a baby crying and so follows the sounds to find a boy who has crawled away from his mother. The situation becomes out of hand and Nathan becomes so obsessed with the boy that he tries to abduct him. The group manage to talk him out of it and the baby is returned to its mother in the end.

Whilst reflecting on the roof, Simon reveals that he used Tony's credit card to book a flight to Spain, thus leading people to presume that he is still alive. Afterwards, he suggests a drink to celebrate "getting away with it" and how that would cause the irony highlighted above. However, the group soon lose interest and return home.

Simon had posted videos of the storm on his social networking profile and shygirl18 sees them and wants to talk to him. We find out later on that shygirl18 is actually Sally, the probation worker, trying to befriend Simon to find out more about what happened to Tony, who was her boyfriend.

In the locker room, getting ready for their second day of community service, Simon finds a cap covered with blood and asks the others what they know about it. When they can't see him, he walks over to the mirror only to find out that he can't see himself.

Answer: Simon kills Sally

Sally took advantage of the vulnerable Simon and stole his phone in order to obtain evidence that they killed Tony. Sally tries to run and there is a struggle to get the phone. During the struggle, Sally is thrown into a door and hits her head on the handle, delivering a fatal blow. Simon then stores her in a freezer in the community centre.

The group laugh at the man initially and take pictures of him before Nathan realises who it is. As mentioned previously, Nathan resents his stepfather and only refers to him as "the bloke who lives with his mum". The group laugh at Simon after he suggests that Jeremy (Nathan's stepfather) is a werewolf, as "that's what happens in the films". Nathan later tries to warn his mother away from Jeremy, but she does not believe him due to his history of lying as well as his dislike for Jeremy.

Nathan's mother says that she has to do this so that her relationship with Jeremy can work. Nathan is clearly not a fan of Jeremy (although he uses his own, colourful language). Nathan's smart wit and sharp tongue, we later learn, causes many of his "friends" to reject his pleas to stay at their homes. Alone, Nathan resorts to spending the night in the community centre. In the morning, he goes to the toilet in the very blood-stained cubicle where Gary met his end.

There is a montage of Ruth and Nathan in the community centre where they drink, alongside several beers, shots of tequila and cause general mayhem. Afterwards, when they're sitting outside taking a picture of themselves, Nathan's stepdad runs by naked distracting them as they're about to kiss.

Rachel first encounters Alisha in the toilets. She uses her powers of manipulation (which we assume to have come from the storm) to make Alisha change her ways. She tells Alisha that, "You don't have to behave like this. You could be so much better". As the organisation grows, they gain media attention and Rachel uses a live news interview to broadcast her powers to all teens watching.
