Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. I can hear people's thoughts, although I tire of it quickly. Later, I become a rocket scientist, instead.

Answer: Kelly

Kelly is a no-nonsense character with a good heart. She is the first of the "ASBO Five", or main characters, to realize she has a power, after hearing Kelly's less than complimentary thoughts. The ability also ruins her relationship with her boyfriend, pushing her further in league with her community service partners.
2. I can turn back time, though I lack control over the ability. After I sell this ability, I get the power to change gender, though I eventually trade it for the power to bring people back from the dead... as zombies.

Answer: Curtis

Curtis is a former track star that lost his right to go to the Olympics after a drug-related bust. He's bitter about what happened, which translates into wishing to turn back time. However, when his power manifests itself, it is only in reaction to extreme emotional distress, rendering it largely useless if he wants to use it calmly.

It causes problems when he wants to break up with his girlfriend, as he repeats the event numerous times before finding a way to do it without causing her to get upset, which in turn triggers him.

The gender swap ability he changes to is downright strange, and the power to bring people back from the dead? As the genie in 'Aladdin' says, "It's not a pretty picture."
3. I gain the power to turn invisible. Later, I can focus to see the outcome of things I consider doing, like jumping from rooftop to rooftop.

Answer: Simon

Simon begins as the quintessential loner type. He is second to realize his power, and the most in tune with the potential repercussions of having it. His character is dynamic, progressing as the show moves forward to become a rather normal guy with a pretty girlfriend and a penchant for jumping off buildings. You know, normal.
4. Thank goodness I gain the power of immortality, people tend not to like my behavior. Of course, I sell this and end up buying the ability to do real magic tricks.

Answer: Nathan

Nathan is the linchpin the show rides on for the first two seasons. His outrageous antics combined with lovable goofiness bring levity to situations that are otherwise all too serious. His humor is not taken well by everyone, however, which leads to some would-be deadly situations.

He leaves the show after taking his new magic powers to Las Vegas, where they don't take kindly to cheaters.
5. My power causes men to lose their minds over me if they so much as brush against my skin. Their over-eager advances while in this state cause me to sell it.

Answer: Alisha

Alisha shows a lot of growth throughout the seasons with which she's involved. She starts out as a snobby party girl obsessed with herself and her image. Being unable to touch men without sending them into a frenzy allows her to see a little more clearly the important aspects of love and self-worth. Eventually, she starts dating Simon, something she'd have found abhorrent mere months before that.

She is the first to learn that she can sell her power, and does so with glee, eager to be able to further her relationship with Simon.
6. I'm the one buying and selling powers, since my ability allows me to take power by touch and transfer them to others the same way.

Answer: Seth

Seth is a drug-dealer turned power broker by the storm. He initially has a sinister air about him, although it is eventually revealed that he's a pretty straight-laced fellow. He runs off with Kelly to defuse landmines in Africa after realizing a zombified ex-girlfriend is a little too much to handle.
7. I'm only in one episode, but I make everyone understand how strong the power of dairy can be in the right hands. The Griffins know my name.

Answer: Brian

Brian has the power to control dairy products- milk, yogurt, cheese- you name it. He takes his power public, inciting a media frenzy that inevitably draws in the delinquent main characters. Unfortunately, powers like Nathan's immortality and a newly introduced girl, Daisy, that can heal anyone by touching them.

He shows everyone the true power of dairy, going on a murder spree, before Curtis and Simon manage to revert the timeline to before Brian's claims led to worldwide notoriety. His smooth descent into criminal madness is spellbinding and his end is both hilarious and fitting.
8. Though I'm a wee little fellow, my burgeoning power of telekinesis, well, doesn't make me any less awkward, unfortunately.

Answer: Finn

Finn becomes a main character of the show in season 4. He's both easy to pity and easy to laugh at. His optimism is generally misplaced, and his naivete hides the fact that he has his girlfriend tied up in their flat for several episodes. Finn knows all too well that good intentions can often go awry.
9. My authoritative ways, coupled with a 'power' that intensifies annoyance into burning hot rage, led to my demise at the hands of the juvenile delinquents I was supposed to correct, yet tried to kill. If it weren't for someone turning back time, I'd have gotten away with it, too.

Answer: Tony

Tony is the original probation worker and the first victim of the protagonists. He murders Gary, the only of his charges that isn't affected by the storm before he's put down in self defense by the others. Tony's fiancee becomes the second probation worker in order to prove he was murdered, but she winds up in the same position as Tony, in a shallow grave.
10. I have three separate bodies, though I can pull myself into myself and.. well, it's all a bit confusing. But each iteration embodies emotions I've repressed, such as my kind, but depressed, lost soul version or the murderous, disturbed one.

Answer: Rudy

Rudy joins the team once Nathan has left for Vegas. In fact, had Nathan called Simon by name when he called from jail (he referred to him as Barry throughout the show), Rudy may have been able to rescue him. As it stands, Rudy led Simon, Alisha, Curtis, and Kelly back to community service through his hijinks.

While happy at first to have his more powerful emotions separate from him and content to keep it that way, he soon learns that he needs his softer, kinder self around as a voice of reason and someone to bail him out of the trouble he constantly finds.
