From Quiz
It Came From The Movies

Answer: Seven

"My Big Fat Greek Life" aired from January to April 2003. The TV series starred Nia Vardalos, Michael Constantine, Lainie Kazan, and Steven Eckholdt as Thomas Miller. In the movie, John Corbett played Toula's husband (the character was changed to Nia for the TV show). Corbett had a commitment with the FX Network and its show "Lucky" and was unable to appear. Executive producer Rita Wilson made a cameo as one of Nia's cousins. Star power couldn't save the show.

An action/drama program, 'Highlander: The Series' followed the story of an immortal named Duncan MacLeod - who could only be truly killed by being beheaded - through his confrontations with evil entities and other immortals, and his connections to, and difficulties with, mortals. The television series also starred Alexandra Vandernoot. The series, as well as the movie, explored the concepts of immortality, social responsibility and the complexities of relationships. The 1986 movie, titled 'Highlander', starred Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, Clancy Brown and Roxanne Hart. Distributed by Twentieth Century Fox, it also featured music by Queen. Polly Holliday (Flo on "Alice") signed on through the rest of the series run.

5. In which comedy did Mark Hamill appear as himself being given VIP treatment at a restaurant?

From Quiz Star Wars TV References

The alien family are eating dinner in a nice restaurant when they are moved from their table in the middle of the room to one by the kitchen door because a 'celebrity' is coming and needs their table. The celebrity turns out to be Mark Hamill (playing himself). This annoys Sally and she says 'He thinks he's so important just because Darth Vader's his father.' Dick replies 'He is?' Later in the same episode, Mark is drying his hair in his hotel room, when he stops and looks at the hair dryer. He points it as though it was a blaster and starts making laser like noises. Mark then hides his hand under his robe sleeve, and screams and flails EXACTLY like he did in 'The Empire Strikes Back'. (Only it's the wrong hand...)

'Planet of the Apes' starred Roddy McDowall, Ron Harper and James Naughton, and expanded on the movie's storyline of the exploits of an astronaut thrust into a future where the ruling class on Earth is no longer human. In 1981, several episodes were recreated into made-for-television movies. The movie, released on February 8th, 1968, starred Charlton Heston, Kim Hunter, Roddy McDowall and Maurice Evans.
