"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" is a line said by Juliet in the play. The red text in the info section of an item means that the item has a bonus effect added to it. However, the Morningstar red text effect is that the gun speaks to you during play. This may sound cool, but its tone is similar to an overbearing mother or nagging partner. Some of the quotes said by the Morningstar sniper rifle depending on what you have just done are, "Oh fine, be that way!", "Oh, great, now you're wasting ammo!" and "They might have been raised in a broken home". Romeo and Juliet is not the only Shakespeare reference in the game. Macbeth and Hamlet are also referenced. After slaying a Goliath enemy the Goliath may say "Goodnight, sweet prince" which is a line from Hamlet.
