Answer: Claptrap

Claptrap is the only surviving and also the only friendly piece of Hyperion technology. This annoying little robot does have some funny phrases.

Roland, the ex-crimson lance solider from the first "Borderlands", is now the leader of the Crimson Raiders which consists of the remaining soldiers of the Crimson Lance. The Crimson Lance fell apart after the fall of General Knoxx.

Answer: Firehawk

Lilith, or the Firehawk, has a cult after her and for one mission you must take a someone to Captain Flynts ship and "sacrifice" him. As it turns out, you just tie him up and watch him burn; it's kinda disturbing.

Answer: Brick

Brick is the final and possibly the hardest to get to because you must fight through his bandits to get him to listen to you. Also if you notice once you kill his bandits and he jumps down, the hammer he grabs is Sledge's hammer from "Borderlands".

Answer: Slab King

After he finally listens to you, the Slab King, enlists you as a honorary slab and says "By the way... My slabs will still try to kill you 'cause they're idiots. But don't feel bad about killing them, I never do." Brick and his slabs help you throughout the rest of the game.

Answer: Handsome Jack

Handsome Jack was only a researcher during the first one then killed the owner of Hyperion and took over. Handsome Jack harasses you throughout the entire game.

Answer: Angel

Angel, it turns out, is Handsome Jack's daughter and at first she helped you throughout the first "Borderlands" and most of the "Borderlands 2", however at the point where Handsome Jack uses her to lower Sanctuary's shields it is all revealed. When you need to get the Vault Key she tells you how to do it.

Answer: commit suicide

He specifically says "I'm sorry but when claptrap speaks I can feel my brain cells committing suicide". You hear Hammerlock say this after you clear Liar's Burg and Claptrap runs into Hammerlocks electric fence outside his home.

Answer: makes him invisible

"I'm invisible! Gimme five minion...oh... that's right." You hear this once Handsome Jack kills Bloodwing and you return to Sanctuary. Even though he has this new ability which he can use as he pleases, he only uses it twice.

Answer: stairs

"STAIRS?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" This is followed by him listing all of his other weaknesses including things such as diabetes. Yeah, that's the joke.... he can't get diabetes. But if you sit there and listen he tells you to go on without him. If you don't you'll probably make it to the door first.
