1. Chicken

Answer: Golden Laced Wyandotte

These chicken are one of the most popular amongst farmers. They lay a considerable amount of brown colored eggs and have a very calm nature. They are also known for being very adaptable to different climates, making them a great choice for backyard chicken owners.

The breed originated in Austria in the early 20th century and was created through selective breeding of different breeds of geese. Unlike other breeds of goose, the Steinbacher is very friendly. However, they are becoming more and more rare.
3. Cow

Answer: Tudanca

This long-horned cow breed is endemic to Spain and was mainly used for transport of cargo in the past. Tudanca cows are particularly valued for their high-quality meat, which is lean and flavorful.
4. Pig

Answer: Kunekune

The Kunekune is a breed of small pigs, native to New Zealand, which could be kept as a cute pet. Not to be confused with the demonic creature in the Japanese mythology - there is nothing creepy in these little plump buddies.
5. Rabbit

Because of the wool mane around its head, this gorgeous animal is referred to as the lionhead rabbit. Despite its very distinctive appearance, the lionhead rabbit only started to be kept as a pet at the end of the twentieth century. The lionhead rabbit requires daily grooming to maintain its fluffy mane, and regular nail trimming and dental check-ups to keep it healthy.

The Zwartbles is a breed of sheep, domestic to the Netherlands. It has dark red-brown wool with a white tip to its tail and white nose stripe. It is used mostly for meat as the wool cannot be dyed.

The Thuringian goat originates from Thüringen in central Germany. Like most goats are, it is suited to mountain regions. The breed has become endangered and may become extinct in the next years.
9. Horse

Answer: Clydesdale

The Clydesdale is a Scottish breed of horse. They are very easy to train and are one of the most sensitive breeds, forming a strong bond with its owner. They are big, heavy horses which were used for farm work but more for display in modern times.
10. Owl

Answer: Pueo

The pueo is a type of owl, endemic to the Hawaii.It is a big part of Hawaiian folklore, as it is one of the forms assumed by the ancestor spirits in the Hawaiian culture.
