Answer: Washington

Washington is situated on the west of the United States of America and was named after the first president of that country, George Washington. The capital is Olympia, although its largest city is Seattle which is famous for the Space Needle observation tower. Washington's nickname is the Evergreen State.
2. Which American fast food is represented by the pictures shown?

Answer: Hot Dog

Burgers and hot dogs are synonymous with the United States and have become a popular fast food in nearly every other country in the world. A hot dog consists of cooked sausage, served in a long bread bun and served with onions, ketchup, mustard and other garnishes.
3. What famous American place do these images indicate?

Answer: Hollywood

Hollywood is a district in Los Angeles which is famous for being the centre of the American film industry. The sign above the Hollywood hills was first erected in 1923 and has since been restored. Famous actors to come out of the golden era of Hollywood included Spencer Tracy, John Wayne and Cary Grant.

The Golden Gate Bridge spans the Golden Gate Strait in the city of San Francisco. Designed by Joseph Strauss, Irving Morrow, and Charles Ellis, it was opened in 1937 to replace a ferry service between Marin County and San Francisco.
