Divine was born an only child and was treated as though he was royalty. Everything he wanted he got and his parents paid for it all.

Once born, Divine could get away with absolutely anything. Divine would later become well known amongst his friends for throwing wild parties that his parents always ended up paying for.

Divine started to sing these songs after he started his nightclub act which at the beginning consisted of him swearing at the audience for about 20 minutes. Copies of these songs, even though they were popular, were not released in the states for years, due to a problem with the record company which ended up costing Divine huge amounts of money in legal fees.

In the town of Chili Verde, at the saloon of Marguerite Ventura (Played by Lanie Kazan), a word of a treasure in gold brings Abel into conflict with outlaw Hard Case Williams (Played by Geoffrey Lewis) and his gang.

On the day the show was supposed to be recorded, Divine didn't show up. Her manager went to the hotel room to check if Divine was OK. That's when he found Divine dead in bed. The episode Divine was supposed to appear in is the episode called "All in the Family" which aired on 1 May 1988.
