Wife number five was Jill Vandenberg, who Curtis married in November 1998. She was 42 years younger than Curtis. They were still married when he died in 2010.

There were rumours in 1984 that he married Andrea Savio and divorced her in 1992, but he makes no mention of this marriage in his memoirs.
