1. Ballet maestro

Answer: Robert Helpmann

Sir Robert Helpmann's career enjoyed international success after joining Anna Pavlov's 1926 tour of Australia. In the 1940s Helpmann joined the famous Sadler's Wells Theatre in London. It must be said that the highlight of Helpmann's career was dancing with Margot Fonteyn during the tour of America performing "The Sleeping Beauty".

By the 1950s Helpmann's dancing days were over; therefore, he shifted his focus into production and performing in films and theatre. The 1960s saw Helpmann returning to Australia, where he worked tirelessly with the Australian Ballet.
2. Stage character Betty Blokk

Answer: Reg Livermore

Reg Livermore has been involved in theatre, television, movies and stage all of his career. Livermore has a reputation as a talented performer known for his ability to sing, dance and act. "Betty Blokk-buster Follies" was Reg's first one man show. In my opinion I would consider this show to be one the most innovative of its time.

It included a great performance by Livermore and was a really entertaining show.
3. Comedy character Sandy Stone

Answer: Barry Humphries

Barry Humphries is more well known for the characters Dame Edna Everage and Sir Les Patterson. Sandy Stone is a lesser known character that has endured the test of time. Considered "this decent man from the suburbs", Humphries usually has Sandy performing monologues of thoughts on life, stories of his family and friends, and his thoughts. Humphries always performs Sandy while sitting on a couch in his dressing gown.

He is probably most known for being a judge on Australia's "Dancing with the Stars" for the 2013 and 2014 seasons, followed up by serving as a judge on "Got to Dance", a British dance competition that was also held in 2014.

In 2005 he won at the Australian Logie Awards for "Most Popular New Male Talent", where it was reported by "The Daily Telegraph" that "Hemsworth was 'born to play hunky high school dropout' Kim, due to his physique and pin-up looks".

After 2011 Hemsworth's best known film character would be "Thor" a Marvel Comics hero. He first appeared in "Thor", followed up by "Thor, The Dark World" and will release "Thor: Ragnarok" in 2017.

Answer: David Williamson

David Williamson commenced his career in the 1970s and wrote and produced "Don's Party" which was made into a movie in 1976. The film was set around the 1969 Federal Election. Don was a teacher in Melbourne who invited friends around to celebrate Labor's win in the election. As the night progresses, it is obvious that Labor is not going to win, which led to a drinking binge that led to all the group's failings coming to the fore. Interestingly, the film relocated to Sydney.
9. Author of "Schindler's Ark"

Answer: Thomas Keneally

Thomas Keneally is an Australian writer known for novels such as "The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith", "Bring Larks and Heroes" and "Schindler's Ark". The novel "Schindler's Ark" was the inspiration for the movie "Schindler's List" by Steven Spielberg. The book was inspired as a result of a chance meeting at a leather goods shop in Los Angeles. The shop owner told a story of his wife, Page, who escaped Germany due to the work of a Nazi factory owner named Oskar Schindler and his list.
10. Actor in "X-Men"

Answer: Hugh Jackman
