Pete Burns was born in 1959 in England, UK, and founded the band Nightmares in Wax in 1979 - the name was changed to Dead or Alive in 1980. Pete is almost just as famous for his band, which released singles such as the UK number one hit "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)" (1984), as he is famous for his androgynous appearance and cosmetic surgery - he has frequently worn extensive make-up and high heels. Due to the complications from lip injections, he had to spend most of his life savings on reconstructive surgery, and planned to sue the surgeon who performed the procedure; there was eventually an out-of-court settlement.

Jocelyn Wildenstein was married to a very successful art dealer, whom she caught cheating with a young Russian model in the 1970s. Devastated, she underwent plastic surgery to make herself look more beautiful and win back the love of her husband. She was unsuccessful in winning back her husband, but continued to have surgery to give herself a cat-like appearance. Jocelyn has reportedly spent at least $4 million on her procedures.

She has authored various novels and autobiographies. Katie had her breasts reduced in 2007, but has undergone other cosmetic procedures including a nose job and lip injections.

Leslie underwent the procedure in 2003, the same year that she starred in commercials for Homebase, a DIY chain, and also had a role in the show "Merseybeat". The exposure of the botched lip job led to great ridicule from the press, which she complained about, comparing it to if they had ridiculed her for losing a leg in a car accident.

In "Men Behaving Badly", she played the love interest of Tony (Neil Morrissey), one of the titular characters. They have a love-hate relationship, with Deborah constantly changing her mind as to whether she wants to be with Tony or not.

Heidi Montag was born in 1986 in Colorado, USA. She starred in all seasons of "The Hills", which ran from 2006 to 2010. It was a reality series following the lives of young adults in California. The show has drawn criticism from some who claim it was scripted.

Heidi also released an album, "Superficial", in 2010 but it didn't sell well. As well as the ten procedures in one day in 2009, she had previously undergone a nose job and breast augmentation in 2007. The procedures in 2009 included both of these again, and a browlift among other things.

Heidi revealed that the painkiller she was taking afterward, Demerol, almost killed her when she took too much, but that it was "worth it". Yikes!

Hang Mioku underwent her first procedure at age 28 and became hooked on plastic surgery. She continued to get surgeries on her face, which eventually became so unrecognizable that her own parents didn't know who she was. A doctor remarkably gave her a syringe and access to silicone so she could continue procedures on her own face, after most surgeons refused to do any work on her as it was likely she had a psychological obsession with surgery.

When her silicone ran out, she indeed injected cooking oil into her face, which swelled grotesquely.

She had the oil and swollen tissue removed from her face but was left scarred and disfigured.

Jackie Stallone was born in 1921, and was not much in the limelight despite son Sylvester's success in Hollywood films such as "Rocky" (1976). During the 1990s, she published several books on astrology; she claimed to have invented the term "rumpology", which is basically palm reading performed on people's backsides! In 2005, she became the first contestant voted out of "Celebrity Big Brother" in the UK, and had been introduced as a "surprise" to create tension, as her former daughter-in-law Brigitte Nielsen was a contestant, and they did not get along.

Jackie accompanied Sylvester in 2012 to the premiere of his movie "The Expendables 2", and the 90-year-old shocked the showbiz world in her mini skirt and £70,000 plastic surgery makeover. She has long been infamous for her "over the top" plastic surgery, but this time she had gone for procedures including total body skin resurfacing, as well as a dramatic facelift and lip implants. While Jackie may not look attractive in many people's opinion, to her credit she does not look her age!

Mickey Rourke began an amateur career in boxing at a young age, and after suffering two concussions, he was advised to take a year off, and in this break he starred in a play after the original actor quit his role, and he quickly became passionate about acting. Although he had a relatively minor role in "Body Heat" in 1981, it served as his breakthrough, and he went on to star in such films as "Angel Heart" (1987).

Having become disillusioned with his acting career, Mickey returned to boxing in the early 1990s. Many people thought him too old, but despite his many injuries, he did well, remaining undefeated for eight fights. In 2009, he admitted that the plastic surgeon who performed his reconstructions was "the wrong guy" who had made a mess of his face.

Donatella Versace was born in Reggio di Calabria, Italy, in 1955. As well as chief designer, she has been the vice president of the Versace Group, founded by her brother Gianni in 1978. Donatella and older brother Santo soon became involved in the company, and took over it following Gianni's murder in 1997. Gianni left half of the stock of the company to Donatella's daughter, Allegra, in his will. Donatella has many celebrity friends, and often hires them as the face of Versace, for example Beyoncé. She has used pop singer Lady Gaga as her muse.

She has famously undergone many plastic surgery procedures, including lip fillers and Botox injections as well as numerous facelifts.

Joan Van Ark was born in New York City, USA, in 1943. Her father named her after Joan of Arc, believing that one day she would be famous. She attended the graduate program at the Yale School of Drama without having an undergraduate degree! In both "Dallas" and "Knots Landing", she played Valene Ewing, the daughter-in-law of Jock and Miss Ellie (Valene married their son Gary). Joan has had many guest roles on TV, including in "Bonanza", "Kojak", and "Nip/Tuck".

As she has never responded to questions regarding her plastic surgeries, people have more or less had to guess at the procedures she has undergone. Her very taut and almost wrinkle-free skin suggests numerous facelifts, while a thinner nose and fuller lips suggest rhinoplasty and lip fillers.
