Forty years later they meet again when she is a widow and he is divorced, and rekindle their romance.

Answer: M

M was the head of MI5 and Judi played her for all of the time that Piers Brosnan played James Bond, dying in one of the Daniel Craig offerings, "Skyfall". The movies included 'Licence to Kill' and 'Goldeneye'. Stella Rimington was appointed head of MI5 in 1992, and 'Golden Eye' was made in 1995 so she may have been the inspiration to cast a female as M.

Ophelia was a tragic heroine in the play 'Hamlet', who drowned herself when Hamlet rejected her. Judi was a great success as Ophelia and continued to work with the Royal Shakespeare Company for four years.
