Judi was a great success as Ophelia and continued to work with the Royal Shakespeare Company for four years. On an occasion when she played Juliet in an RSC production, her parents were in the audience. Judi came on with the line 'Where are my father and my mother?' to which her mother answered 'We're here darling in the stalls'.
