Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Star Wars: Episode 2" was originally called "Attack of the Clones". What is this episode's name in "Darths & Droids"?

Answer: "The Silence of the Clones"

This is visible in a panel in episode #209, at the start of the new campaign. The first campaign was called "The Phantasmal Malevolence".
2. We heard that during the hiatus between episodes 1 and 2, the group played a different campaign also based on a famous adventure. Which adventure was it?

Answer: "The Princess Bride"

This is never explicitly mentioned, but the players' description of that campaign follows the plot of "The Princess Bride" to the letter. Pete apparently played Vizzinni, the Sicilian plotter, killed during his encounter with the Man in Black. He holds a grudge towards Jim and Ben for not resurrecting him. To make things worse, they resurrected the Man in Black instead! There are several overt references to "The Princess Bride" later in the campaign as well.
3. Sally is tired of Jar Jar Binks, and will play several different "less important" characters throughout this campaign. Who is her first, after Jar Jar?

Answer: Dexter Jettster (the Diner Owner)

Sally wreaks a lot of havoc, but at least it's the good kind. She really gets into character and apparently has a better grasp of what her characters would realistically do in any given situation. In some ways, she's actually smarter than all the other players. By this point in the story, Sally is a very young teenager.
4. What happened to the data logs in the Jedi Library?

Answer: Eaten by dogs.

This is Sally's idea while she's playing Jocasta Nu, the Librarian. The Game Master plays along with this, so eventually we get to see Yoda saying that the records appear to have bite-marks on them. The Game Master in "Darths & Droids" is very good at adapting the story to fit the wacky decisions of the players; he rarely, if ever, overrules them, as long as they're not trying anything too underhanded.
5. Who plays Padme's family members?

Answer: Jim

The Game Master allows Jim to play all of them, which is made weird by the fact that he's also playing Padme herself. The result is a family where everyone agrees explicitly with Padme and backs her up in everything she says. Jim has difficulties playing ONE character correctly, but having a whole troupe of them is even worse!
6. What is the nature of the relationship between Jango Fett and Darth Maul?

Answer: Partners

Darth Maul was killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi in the first campaign, after he had spent the entire campaign trying to HELP the players. It is now revealed that Jango Fett was also working in the background to recover the Lost Orb of Phantastacoria, and was almost killed by Anakin Skywalker when he blew up the Federation's Command Ship over Naboo. Now, he's out for revenge. With an entire clone army to back him up.
7. One episode has no text in it - none whatsoever. Where does it take place?

Answer: Naboo

In this episode, Anakin and Padme are eating together in a scenic lake retreat on Naboo. A romantic relationship is quickly brewing between them, but the weird thing is that in this case, each character is being played by a person of the opposite sex! Jim is playing Padme, while Annie is playing Anakin. Strangely, it is Jim himself who's starting to behave like a blushing teenaged girl!
8. Who gave weapons to the Sand People, turning them from a peaceful tribe into a desert menace?

Answer: Qui-Gon Jinn

This happened during the first campaign, when Jim was trying to increase the odds of Anakin winning the Tatooine Pod-Race. He gave guns to the Sand People so they would shoot at the competitors. Except he forgot to tell them who to shoot at, and they ended up hitting Anakin's racer! And now, as it turns out, it's also distorted their entire society.

This second campaign has many instances where a past action leads to a current misfortune. The Game Master loves retroactive cause-and-effect.
9. What kind of accent does Count Dooku have?

Answer: French

The Game Master has chosen to play Dooku with a French accent. This is played for laughs several times, of course. Especially when Dooku is having a conversation with another Game-Master-played character, Nute Gunray, who speaks with a Japanese accent. He has some trouble switching between the two.
10. The Game Master has some family emergency. Which of the players gets to be the temporary Game Master?

Answer: Pete

Pete may not have been the best choice for this. He claims to have the most experience being a Game Master (though that remains to be seen), but he does harbor a terrible grudge against the other players. And he's not known for compassion. Be afraid, be very afraid.
