1. The eighth Doctor's first audio adventure takes place aboard which doomed vessel?

Answer: The R101

The Doctor meets his newest travelling companion aboard the ill-fated R101 airship which crashed in Beauvais in October 1930. The story, "Storm Warning", is based on actual historical events.

2. Which actress played the eighth Doctor's first companion, Charley Pollard?

Answer: India Fisher

Charley is voiced by the extremely talented India Fisher. She is probably most recognised for her recurring roles on BBC's "Dead Ringers", and has worked extensively in radio and voice-over work.

3. Which classic series character makes an appearance in the eighth Doctor's fourth adventure, "Minuet in Hell"?

Answer: The Brigadier

Nicholas Courtney resumes his role as the Brigadier in this story. This is the Brigadier's second appearance in the Big Finish audios, the first being opposite the Sixth Doctor in "The Spectre of Lanyon Moor".

4. Which monster race is given only their second outing in the story "Seasons of Fear"?

Answer: The Nimon

The Nimon are well known for their flared trousers and bad scripting in "The Horns of Nimon". Fortunately, writer Paul Cornell showed us how scary these monsters could be, if given the chance.

Answer: Time of the Daleks

This story features the Daleks expanding on their knowledge of time travel. With this power at their fingertips, it's a good job that the eighth Doctor is around to stop them!

Answer: Zagreus

"Zagreus lives inside your head..." I'm sure the Doctor didn't realise quite how accurate this saying was to become as the not-so-fictional children's nighmare character takes possession of his body and mind.

7. A multitude of classic series actors and actresses return to play guest roles in the 50th Big Finish release "Zagreus". Which of these did NOT take part?

Answer: Frazer Hines

Each of the returning guest stars took either one or two roles, depending on how many doctors they travelled with. Louise Jameson resumed her role as the savage Leela, Anneke Wills played Charley's mother, and Bonnie Langford played Goldilocks (minus the three bears).

8. What is the name of the entity which monitors the Doctor's progress through the Interzone?

Answer: The Kro'ka

Stephen Perring voiced the Kro'ka, a mysterious entity who occasionally helps, but mostly hiders the Doctor and his companions as they travel through the many worlds of the Interzone. We later discovered that he was not working alone.

9. What species is the Doctor's chamelion-like second companion, C'rizz?

Answer: Eutermesan

The Doctor meets the Eutermesan C'rizz during the story "The Creed of the Kromon". He suffered a traumatic introduction as he was forced to mercy-kill his lover, and later showed signs that desire to kill may not be quite so alien to him after all.

Answer: There was no time

The Doctor and Charley were banished to the anti-time universe at the end of the story "Zagreus". When they arrived they discovered that the people there had no knowledge of the concept of time, and there were no clocks or time-pieces.
