Answer: Chanel

French fashion house "Chanel" was founded by Coco Chanel in 1910. It began producing perfumes in the early 1920s, including the signature "Chanel No. 5". "Bleu de Chanel" was created as a men's fragrance in 2010 as an eau de toilette, before being reformulated four years later as an eau de parfum. It has been described as a woody aromatic fragrance.

"Maison Margiela" is a fashion house in Paris, France, founded in 1988 by Martin Margiela, a Belgian designer. Fragrances are one of the company's many product lines. Their woody cologne "By the Fireplace" began production in 2015 and is aimed at both men and women.

5. Polo Red

American fashion designer Ralph Lauren started his own line of ties in the 1960s while working for manufacturer "Beau Brummell" before beginning his eponymous corporation. The "Polo" name was initially a line of menswear, followed by signature Polo shirts.

In the late 1970s, Ralph Lauren introduced two fragrances simultaneously: "Lauren" for women and "Polo" for men. "Polo Red" (2013) is described as a woody, spicy men's fragrance.
6. Tobacco Vanille

American fashion designer and filmmaker Thomas Carlyle Ford worked for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent before launching his brand in 2005. His initial line of fragrances included "Black Orchid" and "Tom Ford for Men". "Tobacco Vanille" (2007) is a spicy cologne for men and women which includes elements of tobacco leaf, vanilla and tobacco blossom.

It has been described as a luxury sweet and spicy scent.
7. Eros

The "Fresh" cosmetics company was the 1991 brainchild of Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg, Russian immigrants living in Boston, USA. "Cannabis Santal Eau de Parfum" (2006) is described on the company's website as "a sensual woodsy fragrance that captures the raw energy of desire." Users are quick to point out that "Cannabis Santal" does not smell like marijuana, instead calling it a woody floral musk for men.
9. Sunset Riot

British fashion retailer AllSaints is based in London, UK. The company was founded by Stuart Trevor and Kait Bolongaro in 1994. "Sunset Riot" was the one of the results of a 2018 partnership with Revlon to produce a unisex fragrance collection. The scent is woody and floral.
10. 1 Million

Answer: Paco Rabanne

Francisco Rabaneda Cuervo, better known as Paco Rabanne, is a Spanish fashion designer of Basque origins. Working in jewellery design for Givenchy and Dior, Paco Rabanne began his own fashion company in 1966. Two years later, he started working with fragrance company Puig, selling his own perfumes. Rabanne's "1 Million" Eau de Toilette spray (2008) has a very recognisable gold bottle housing a woody, spicy men's fragrance.
