Mayberry was the small town where "The Andy Griffith Show" was set. The show starred Andy Griffith as Andy Taylor who was Sheriff of Mayberry County. He spent most of his time lazing around the courthouse in the town of Mayberry with his deputy Barney Fife (Don Knotts). Andy's young son Opie (Ron Howard) was also a regular character. So was Aunt Bee (Frances Beaver), Andy's aunt who acted as a housekeeper and helped raise Opie.
