At "Clash of the Champions I", Sting and Ric Flair wrestled for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Flair's manager, J.J. Dillon, was suspended above the ring in a cage. Sting and Flair wrestled the entire forty-five time-limit without either wrestler gaining a decision.

The five ringside judges declared this match to be a draw. Ric Flair retained the the NWA World Heavyweight Championship because of the draw.

Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair both won a fall in this match. Ricky Steamboat put Ric Flair in a "Chicken Wing" during the third fall. Both wrestlers then fell backwards and Flair's shoulders were pinned for the three count. Steamboat won the third fall and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Ric Flair defeated Terry Funk in an I Quit Match at the "Clash of the Champions IX" event. Flair put Funk in a "Figure Four Leglock". The match received a five star rating from wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer.

At the "Clash of the Champions X" event, the Steiner Brothers defeated Doom to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship. As a stipulation of losing the match, the masked team of Doom had to remove their masks. Doom was revealed to be Ron Simmons and Butch Reed.

André the Giant was interviewed by Gordon Solie at the "Clash of the Champions XX" event on September 2, 1992. That was his final television appearance. André the Giant died on January 27, 1993.

At the "Clash of the Champions XX" event, Ricky Steamboat defeated Steve Austin No Disqualification match to win the WCW World Television Championship. At the "Clash of the Champions XX" event, Ricky Steamboat defeated Steve Austin to win the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.

In the second match of the series, Ricky Steamboat suffered a career ending back injury during his victory.

A three-round boxing match occurred at the "Clash of the Champions XXI" event. Scotty Flamingo won the boxing match over Johnny B. Badd in the second round via knockout. Between rounds, Diamond Dallas Page and Vinnie Vegas soaked Flamingo's gloves with water.

Answer: The Shockmaster

At the "Clash of the Champions XXIV" event, a live "Flair For the Gold" segment aired. This segment promoted the WarGames match at the "Fall Brawl 1993: War Games" event. The Shockmaster was introduced as a mystery partner. The Shockmaster broke through the set wall and tripped.

The entire wall fell down and the Shockmaster's helmet came off. The wrestlers on set were visibly laughing on camera. The Shockmaster recovered, put his helmet back on and continued his promo.

"The Man of 1,000 Holds" Dean Malenko defeated the Último Dragón via submission to win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship at the "Clash of the Champions XXXIV" event. At the end of the highly technical match, Malenko grabbed his opponent's legs to apply "Texas Cloverleaf" and earn the submission.

Answer: Bobby "the Brain" Heenan

Bobby "the Brain" Heenan was one of the television announcers for the "Clash of the Champions XXXII" event. Heenan had serious neck problems thus the wrestlers weren't allowed to touch him. During a match on this card, Brian Pillman went outside of the ring and then grabbed Heenan.

A startled Heenan had some harsh words for Pillman. Heenan said one of the "seven dirty words" towards Pillman on a live television broadcast. Heenan walked around the ringside area in disgust for the rest of the match.
