Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 'Wrestlemania' - Who was in Hogan and Mr. T's corner at this event?

Answer: 'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka

Hogan and T (BA Baracus in 'The A Team') defeated the team of Rowdy Roddy Piper and 'Mr Wonderful' Paul Orndorff in the main event of the inaugural 'Wrestlemania' in Madison Square Garden. Snuka's main concern in the match was to keep an eye on 'Ace' Cowboy Bob Orton, who stood in the opposite corner.
2. 'Wrestlemania 2' - What move did Hogan perform on Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan in the Steel Cage Match Main Event?

Answer: Atomic Drop

Hogan faced and defeated King Kong Bundy in a Steel Cage Match to retain his WWF Championship. After the match had ended, Heenan stormed the ring and was promptly bounced back out of the cage, courtesy of The Hulkster's knee.
3. 'Wrestlemania III' - On what interview show did Andre The Giant officially challenge Hogan for this main event title shot?

Answer: Piper's Pit

Andre uncharacteristically challenged his best friend on an episode of Rowdy Roddy Piper's 'Piper's Pit' show. Hogan did not want the match to happen, but a slap from Andre made his mind up for him. The two would meet at 'Mania' in front of over 93,000 fans, with 'The Hulkster' again successfully defending his WWF Championship.
4. 'Wrestlemania IV' - Who received a suplex in Hogan's match at this year's event?

Answer: Virgil

For the second year running, Hogan took on Andre The Giant in the Second Round of the tournament to find the new Undisputed WWF Champion. During the match, which ended in a double disqualification, 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase and his bodyguard, Virgil, both interfered, leading to a beatdown by 'The Hulkster'.
5. 'Wrestlemania V' - Whose corner was Miss Elizabeth in at this event?

Answer: Neither - She was in a neutral corner

Prior to their break-up, Miss Elizabeth was the manager of The Mega-Powers (Hogan and Savage). When the two split and faced off here at The Trump Plaza, Elizabeth did not want to appear as if she was taking sides, and instead stood in a neutral corner. 'The Hulkster' ended up victorious and captured the WWF Championship from Savage for a second title reign.
6. 'Wrestlemania VI' - In a pre-match interview, what did Hogan hope that his opponent, The Ultimate Warrior, was?

Answer: A Good Loser

"It doesn't matter whetha ya win, or wetha ya lose! It's what sorta winna ya are, and what kind of losa ya are! And Ultimate Warrior, I sure hope that you're a good loser, brother!"
The Warrior wasn't a good loser, he beat Hogan and became a double champion.
7. 'Wrestlemania VII' - Which political leader inspired the WWF to write the story between Sgt. Slaughter and Hogan?

Answer: Saddam Hussein

This match took place at the height of The Gulf War, when the USA and UK took on the might of Iraq. Slaugher and his comrades, Col. Mustafa and Gen. Adnan, were portrayed as Iraqi sympathisers. All-American Hulk Hogan took exception to this and beat Slaugher for his third WWF Championship.
8. 'Wrestlemania VIII' - At what WWF event did Hogan and his 'Wrestlemania' opponent fall out, to set up this match?

Answer: Royal Rumble 1992

At 'Royal Rumble 1992', the last three men in the ring were Hogan, Ric Flair and Sid Justice. Both Hogan and Justice were faces at the time, with Flair the typical heel. As 'The Hulkster' was about to eliminate 'The Nature Boy' from the match, Justice came up from behind and launched Hogan over the top rope.

In an act of retribution, Hogan grabbed Justice's hand and pulled him from the ring as well, leaving Flair as the winner, and new WWF Champion as a result. To settle this matter, Hogan and Justice met in the main event of 'Wrestlemania VIII', in a match that Hulk won via disqualification when Papa Shango ran in and attacked him.

This bout also featured the return of The Ultimate Warrior, who saved Hogan from the onslaught.
9. 'Wrestlemania IX' - True Or False? Hogan was advertised as having a WWF Championship title shot against Yokozuna at this event.

Answer: False

Although Hogan did receieve a title shot against Yokozuna at this event, it was an impromptu match that was set up immediately after Yoko had won the WWF Championship from Bret "Hitman" Hart. Hogan was advertised as having a Tag Team Title shot against Money Inc. with his Mega Maniacs partner, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake.

Although The Maniacs lost this bout via DQ, Hogan would go on to capture his fifth WWF Championship against the Japanese behemoth.
10. 'Wrestlemania X8' - Hogan's latest (as of 6th January, 2003) 'Mania' appearance was against The Rock at The Skydome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This marked Hogan's only 'Wrestlemania' appearance as a heel so far, as he was a member of the nWo. But at what WCW event did Hogan join Kevin Nash and Scott Hall to form this feared stable?

Answer: Bash At The Beach

After Hogan was defeated by The Rock in front of over 60,000 fans, Nash and Hall confronted him in the ring before attempting to lay a beatdown on the icon. However, The Rock helped 'The Hulkster' out and the two would later go on to feud with Nash, Hall and the rest of the nWo. Thanks for taking this quiz, I hope you enjoyed it. Now whatcha gonna do, brother!? I suggest going to bed, it's too late for this.
