Answer: Witchbreed

Just as they face persecution in the present, mutants fare no better in the 1600's. The first "witchbreed" seen is Angel, who is to be put to death for simply being different. Angel's plight is seen in issue #1 of "1602".
2. Who is Sir Nicholas Fury's assistant?

Answer: Peter Parquagh

Parquagh cannot climb walls and is nearly bitten by a spider multiple times throughout the series. He lives with his aunt and uncle, and befriends the young Virginia Dare. He makes his first appearance in issue #1 of "1602", released in 2003.
3. Who sends the deadly present that takes the life of Queen Elizabeth?

Answer: Otto von Doom

The handsome yet sinister ruler of far-off Latveria, Count Otto von Doom imprisoned the four travelers from the ship Fantastick some time ago, and seeks to win the Templar treasure for himself. The deadly treasure killed the Queen in the third issue of "1602", which went on sale in 2003.
4. Who is Virginia's bodyguard?

Answer: Rohjaz

Rohjaz is a fair-skinned, blonde-haired native American who helped the colonists at Roanoke through a tough winter. He accompanies the young Virgina to England, where he subdues her when she turns into a great winged creature! Rohjaz first appeared in the first issue of "1602",which was released in 2003.
5. Who is Sir Nicholas Fury's top agent?

Answer: Murdoch

The blind Murdoch is very agile and has senses far beyond that of mortal men, yet his regular sight was robbed from him upon visiting a strange cave. Fury charges him with obtaining and delivering the Templar treasure, sending him on a long voyage. He is also a bard, visiting inns and singing.

He showed up in "1602" #1, (2003), singing of the four voyagers on the ship called "Fantastick".
6. The first time Virginia Dare displays her ability, she transforms into a griffin.

Answer: True

Reacting to the shock of being kidnapped by a winged assassin, Dare turns into a white griffin, and passes out after being captured by Stephen Strange and Rohjaz. Rohjaz confirms that she had previously turned into a white deer, although the griffin episode took place in issue #3 of "1602", which went on sale in 2003.
7. Where does Hal McCoy claim to be from?

Answer: Orkney

As Javier and his students are being led away by Sir Nicholas Fury and his men under the command of King James, Hal responds to a soldier's fear of his strange appearance by inquiring if the infantryman had ever been to Orkney. Javier and his "witchbreed" were captured in issue #5 of "1602", which debuted in 2003.
8. Which of these characters does not work for Inquisitor Enrique?

Answer: Master Darkholme

Petros and Wanda are Enrique's two closest servants, as well as his children, but only the Inquisitor himself knows that. The Toad, a vile-looking man with a lisp, is Enrique's agent at the Vatican. Enrique's forces made their first appearance in "1602" #1, which went on sale in 2003.
9. Who is Count von Doom's lover?

Answer: Natasha

Natasha, a widow, betrays the blind balladeer Murdoch and delivers the supposed Templar treasure to von Doom. Little does she know that this is not the treasure, but a clever deception. The couple appears together for the first time in issue #5 of "1602", which debuted in 2003.
10. Who meets with the Watcher?

Answer: Stephen Strange

Because of his aptitude for the mystical arts, Uatu the Watcher was able to talk to Strange, who was bound to silence until he died.
