William Regal told John Cena that he could face Randy Orton and Triple H in a Triple Threat Match at "Wrestlemania 24" for the WWE Championship.

In the Triple Threat Match at "Wrestlemania 24", Randy Orton retained the WWE Championship when Triple H gave John Cena the "Pedigree" and then Randy Orton gave Triple H "The Punt Kick" and pinned John Cena.

First, John "Bradshaw" Layfield was eliminated by Chris Jericho after "The Codebreaker". Next, Umaga was eliminated by Chris Jericho after a "Sweet Chin Music" from Shawn Michaels, "The Codebreaker" from Chris Jericho, the "Pedigree" by Triple H, and a "Swanton Bomb" from the top of the chamber by Jeff Hardy.
