Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The first match of the evening pitted Chris Jericho against Jeff Hardy. After the match was over, which two wrestlers came to the ring in defense of their respective friends?

Answer: Christian and Shawn Michaels

Chris Jericho faced off against Jeff Hardy in a match that was made because Jeff had defeated Jericho the previous week on "Raw." Both wrestlers gave it their all, and each had near pins, but when Jeff tried to hit the "Swanton Bomb" on Jericho, Chris reversed it into a the "Walls of Jericho." Due to the fact that Jeff had escaped the "Walls" one time before, he was weak and couldn't escape again. Jeff was forced to tap out. However, Jericho refused to release the defeated Hardy, even with the referee trying to force him.

Shawn Michaels then came to the ring in defense of Jeff and broke the submission hold. Then, out of nowhere, came Christian. Together, Christian and Jericho went after Michaels. However, Jericho was knocked out of the ring and Christian was given the "Sweet Chin Music."
2. Who did the WWE World Tag Team Champions, Lance Storm and William Regal, have a match against in defense of their titles?

Answer: Kane and Rob Van Dam

Lance Storm and William Regal faced off against Kane and Rob Van Dam. Kane and Van Dam put up a good defense, but they were unable to defeat Storm and Regal. The champions won when Kane, with his mask turned sideways, accidentally hit Van Dam with the "Chokeslam." The champions capitalized on this mistake and pinned Van Dam for the save.
3. Who did the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Billy Kidman, lose his championship to?

Answer: Matt Hardy

Billy Kidman faced off against Matt Hardy for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Hardy, who was always a heavyweight, dropped ten pounds in order to face off against Kidman. With Shannon Moore at his side, Hardy defeated Kidman, via the "Twist of Fate."
4. The match between The Undertaker and The Big Show ended with a surprise move by the Deadman. What was the surprise move?

Answer: Triangle Choke

The Undertaker faced off against The Big Show, who was accompanied to the ring by Paul Heyman. It seemed as though Taker's arsenal was diminished when it became apparent that he could not lift the 500 pound Show. Taker was pummeled by Show, but like the quote from "Rocky III," "He's not gettin' killed, he's gettin' mad!" Taker proved why he is "The Phenom." Because he couldn't "Chokeslam" Show, and because he couldn't give Show the "Tombstone Piledriver" or the "Last Ride," Taker showed his wrestling skills after Show "Chokeslammed" him. Taker reversed Show's move and put the behemoth in the "Triangle Choke," which literally choked the big man, making him pass out.
5. During the match between The Undertaker and The Big Show, which wrestler interfered?

Answer: A Train

As Taker was getting the better of Show, A Train ran to the ring and went after Taker. The Deadman knocked A Train out of the ring, where he fell into Paul Heyman. Then, in another surprise move, Taker flew. He gave himself a running start then jumped over the top rope with his arms spread out. Like a 747, Taker flew into A Train and Heyman.
6. The 2-on-3 Match between Brock Lesnar & Chris Benoit and Team Angle ended with the "Crippler Crossface." Which member of Team Angle was forced to tap out?

Answer: Charlie Haas

After Edge was found severely beaten backstage, the official 6 Man Tag Team Match was made into a 2-on-3 Match. Brock Lesnar & Chris Benoit faced off against Team Angle. Haas, Benjamin, and Angle were like three rabid pitbulls in the ring. They attacked Benoit and Lesnar, and kept on attacking, until it seemed as though Team Angle would win.

However, Lesnar and Benoit proved how good they really are. With Lesnar taking care of Benjamin and Angle, who finally felt what it's like to be hit with the "F5," Benoit forced Haas to tap out to the "Crippler Crossface."
7. Which move did Triple H use to defeat Scott Steiner?

Answer: Pedigree

Triple H, accompanied to the ring by Ric Flair, faced off against Scott Steiner in defense of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Steiner had a strong showing, but he was unable to defeat Helmsley.
During the match, the other members of Evolution (Batista and Randy Orton), interfered in the match. However, with all of this interfering, referee Earl Hebner refused to call for the bell. Triple H finally hit Steiner with the "Pedigree," and pinned him for the win.
8. In the match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff, how many "Stone Cold Stunners" did Bischoff receive?

Answer: 4

Stone Cold Steve Austin, in his first match since walking out in June of 2002, faced off against Eric Bischoff, as a condition of Bischoff's reinstatement as "Raw" general manager. This was really not a match, but a public beating. Austin manhandled Bischoff to the point where Bischoff was incoherent. Toying with Bischoff, Austin kept lifting the GM's arm instead of getting the three count.

After two "Stunners" Austin finally pinned Bischoff, but he wasn't done yet. After the match, Austin delivered another "Stunner" and after walking to the top of the ramp, he walked back down and delivered another "Stunner" just for the hell of it.
9. During the match between The Rock and Hulk Hogan, what happened?

Answer: Arena lights went out

The Rock faced off against Hulk Hogan in a match that was supposed to be Hogan against Vince McMahon. The Rock tried hard to put Hogan away, but each time Hogan "hulked up." In the middle of the match, the arena lights went out. When the lights came back on, the referee was lying face down near a steel chair, and The Rock was lying face down. Only Hogan was standing.
10. In the match between The Rock and Hulk Hogan, who interfered in the match, making Hogan lose?

Answer: Vince McMahon

After the lights came back on, we saw the referee lift his head and slide the chair to The Rock. Then, Vince McMahon came to the ring, which caused a distraction to Hogan. This left Hogan vulnerable to an attack by The Rock and the steel chair. The Rock slammed the chair onto Hogan's head, knocking him out.

The Rock then pinned Hogan for the win. After the match, The Rock, the referee, and McMahon walked up the ramp together.
