Answer: Millennium Falcon

The Millennium Falcon first appeared in 'Star Wars IV: A New Hope' in 1977.
Its captain, Han Solo, won it in a card game called Sabaac against his friend Lando Calrissian. Although Luke Skywalker called the ship a piece of junk, the Falcon was known to be one of the fastest - if not the fastest - spacecrafts around. How else could it have made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs?

The Super Star Destroyers were huge versions of the standard Imperial-class Star Destroyers.
The Executor, Lord Vader's flagship, measured more than 60.000 feet in length. It was armed with over 5.000 turbolaser batteries and ion cannons, it could launch 144 various TIE series starfighters and housed (among others) 30 AT-ATs and 50 AT-STs. It was manned by almost 300.000 crewmen.

The Heart of Gold first appeared in Douglas Adam's trilogy (in five parts, of course) 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy'. It was propelled by the prototype Infinite Improbability Drive.
Douglas Adam's novel was made into a film which premiered in 2005, starring Martin Freeman as Arthur, Mos Def as Ford Prefect, Sam Rockwell as Zaphod Beeblebrox and Zooey Deschanel as Trillian.

During 'Star Trek: The Original Series', James T. Kirk was captain of the USS Enterprise NCC 1701. She first appeared in the pilot episode 'The Cage' in 1965.
Jean-Luc Picard was the captain of the USS Enterprise NCC 1701-D in 'Star Trek: The Next Generation'. The Enterprise D first appeared in 'Encounter at Farpoint' in 1987.

Answer: Phoenix

The Phoenix appeared in 'Star Trek: First Contact' in 1996.
As she was heavily damaged by attacking Borg, the Enterprise's crew helped Cochrane to repair the ship. Subsequently it was able to accomplish human's first warp speed flight, thus attracting a passing Vulcan ship's notice. As the result, on the 5th of April 2063, the human race made first contact with an alien species.

Answer: Voyager

The USS Voyager first appeared in the series 'Star Trek: Voyager' in 1995.
In the pilot episode, 'Caretaker', the Voyager is flung to the far side of the galaxy, the Delta Quadrant. Captain Janeway and her crew then tried to find a way back to earth, a journey that was assumed to take an estimated 75 years.

During the Earth-Minbari war, on the 30th of September 2245, the Minbari heavy war cruiser of the Sharlin class 'Black Star' ('Drala Fi' in the language of Minbar) entered the asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars in order to attack and destroy several earth alliance ships.
It caused severe casualties among the human ships, before John Sheridan was able to lure it into a trap and destroy it by using several nuclear weapons affixed to asteroids.

The Lexington's captain, Captain Roger Stearns, was killed during the Drala Fi's initial attack.
John Sheridan took over the ship and remembered that there is no enemy that cannot be defeated. The destruction of the Drala Fi earned him the nickname Starkiller among the Minbari.

Answer: Nostromo

The Nostromo was a commercial spaceship which was on a return trip to earth in the 1979 movie 'Alien' by Ridley Scott.
After detecting a distress signal from an alien spacecraft the crew started investigating its origin. While onboard the unknown ship crewman Kane got infected with a parasite, thereby bringing the Alien onto the Nostromo. While Ellen Ripley (played by Sigourney Weaver) was able to defeat the Alien in the end, she nevertheless had to abandon the Nostromo.
