Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which was NOT a member of Justice League America (the previous incarnation of the League) that appears in issue #1?

Answer: Fire

While Wonder Woman, Obsidian, and Nuklon all appeared on the satellite prior to its destruction, Fire is noticeably absent. Icemaiden mentions that she "called in sick. Lost her powers, or something."
2. What was the name of the small-time villain who met his end at the hands of the Hyperclan?

Answer: Judgment

Judgment is tied to a pole and killed with heat vision blasts after Hyperclan deems this to be Judgment's own "judgment." This is another subtle changing of the guard, since Judgment was introduced in the "Justice League America" series. Killg%re is an other-dimensional Flash villain, Lord Havoc is an alternate persona of Max Lord, and Chiller is a small-time Bat-villain.
3. Who was with Wonder Woman when the Hyperclan made their TV debut?

Answer: Helena Sandsmark

Helena Sandsmark, Wonder-Girl's mother, is at the side of her daughter and Wonder Woman during the TV debut of the Hyperclan. Donna was a Darkstar at this time, the Cheetah would probably not be associating with WOndy, and Hippolyta would be in the past during this event.
4. The Hyperclan revealed Z'onn Z'orr in order to do what?

Answer: Hypnotize the people of Earth

While it may seem goofy, the White artians telepathy would be amplified through their new base of operations. For those of you who remember, the Hyperclan DID remove the oxygen from Earth's atmosphere to prevent fire in "JLA: Terra Incognita".
5. Metamorpho died on impact with the Earth's surface following the satellite's explosion.

Answer: True

Metamorpho, while he was buried in JLA #5, did NOT die. He was supposedly rendered inert, a fact that would come to light in JLA: Terror Incognita.
6. Who was the last person to join the JLA in "New World Order"?

Answer: Aquaman

While Batman shows up at the initial meeting last, Aquaman does not show up to help the team until issue #2. This would ironically not make a "founder" of the League although his membership describes him that way.
7. The Martians did NOT reveal a base at which location?

Answer: Sahara Desert

The Sahara Desert was the sight of the Hyperclan's "paradise", a demonstration of their "benevolent" powers, but no bsae was involved.
8. How many martians did Batman defeat in issues #3 and #4?

Answer: 4

Batman takes on and beats Tronix, A-Mortal, Zenturion, and Fluxus, making that total 4. He DOESN'T beat Protex, Primaid, Zum or Armek. This may be the only time Batman is useful in extraterrestrial combat, so make note of that.
9. Where is the White Martians' mothership?

Answer: Still Zone

The Martian ship is in the Still Zone, which is featured numerous times throughout the series. It shows up as the site for Prometheus' home, the Crooked House (under the guise of the Ghost Zone), the Limbo the Spectre is trapped in, and even the dimension Zazalla uses to travel.
10. Which Leaguer has the last spoken line of "New World Order"?

Answer: Green Lantern

The last line goes to newbie Kyle Rayner when the Watchtower is first revealed. It is quite a poetic uttering, "Wow."
