Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Acolytes were formed in early January 1999 to become members of which new cult faction?

Answer: Ministry of Darkness

I did say it was easy. Bradshaw and Faarooq had not teamed together previously before they joined the MoD, and no explanation was given as to why they were teaming together on-screen. We were left to presume that The Undertaker had brainwashed them to serve as his bodyguards.
2. On May 25, 1999 the Acolytes won their first WWE Tag Team Titles. Which tag team did they defeat for the belts?

Answer: Kaneand X-Pac

Kane and X-Pac, who won the Tag Titles from Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett in March 1999. They lost the titles to the Acolytes on a house show on May 25, and it is unclear as to how the titles switched hands.
3. The Acolytes won their second WWE Tag Team Titles on July 25, 1999. Who lost the titles this time?

Answer: The Hardy Boyz

The Acolytes actually managed to overcome The Hardy Boyz and Michael Hayes (the manager of the Hardy Boyz) to win the Tag Titles, even if it was Hayes that took the loss.
4. At the 2000 "Royal Rumble", which tag team defeated the Acolytes to retain their WWE Tag Team Titles?

Answer: New Age Outlaws

The New Age Outlaws left the 2000 "Royal Rumble" still the WWE Tag Team Champions after their DX stable-mate X-Pac ran down to interfere in the match.
5. Which tag team defeated The Acolytes at "Backlash" 2000?

Answer: Big Bossman and Bull Buchanan

Bossman and Buchanan won the match largely due to Bossman hitting Bradshaw with his ever present nightstick.
6. At "WrestleMania X7" who teamed up with The Acolytes (now known as the "APA") to take on the Right to Censor?

Answer: Tazz

Bradshaw got the victory over Goodfather after a Clothesline from Hell. Tazz was a replacement for Jerry "The King" Lawler, who left the WWE in February 2001 due to his wife Stacy "The Kat" Carter being released from her contract.
7. At "No Way Out" 2002 the APA took on several teams in a Tag Team Turmoil match to decide the #1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Which of these teams did NOT compete in the match?

Answer: Spike Dudley and Tazz

The APA won the match, and eventually got their title shot at "WrestleMania X8", along with The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz, against the champions Billy and Chuck. Tazz and Spike Dudley were the defending Tag Team Champions at "No Way Out" 2002.
8. The APA were split up in the 2002 Brand Extension, with Bradshaw heading to "RAW", and Faarooq heading to "SmackDown!". At which Pay Per View did the two reunite, with Faarooq accompanying Bradshaw for his match?

Answer: Backlash 2002

At "Backlash" 2002 Bradshaw took on, and was defeated by, Scott Hall of the nWo. Faarooq accompanied him to the ring to nullify the threat of Kevin Nash, Scott Hall's stablemate, who accompanied Hall to the ring. This Pay Per View took place less than three weeks after the APA had been split up.
9. The two eventually reunited permanently, restarting the APA in OVW, the WWE's development federation. Who did they beat to win the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles?

Answer: Rene Dupree and Lance Cade

The match between Cade/Dupree and the APA originally ended with Dupree and Cade winning, but the decision was reversed, and as a result the APA became the OVW Tag Team Champions. They vacated the belts soon after due to being recalled to the WWE on the "SmackDown!" brand.
10. The final match for the APA happened on March 18, 2004. The "SmackDown!" General Manager at the time, Paul Heyman, forced them to compete against the WWE Tag Team champions, and if they lost, they would be fired. Who were the team they had to face?

Answer: Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty

The APA lost the match, and were both scheduled to be fired. However, Bradshaw turned his back on Faarooq by sweet-talking Heyman into letting him staying, but not Faarooq.

It is unlikely the APA will team again, as Faarooq was released from the company on the same day (March 18th 2004), and Bradshaw has had incredible singles success under his new "JBL" gimmick.
