Answer: Eddie Sharkey

In addition to Hawk and Animal the list of Sharkey's other students include the likes of Rick Rude, Nikita Koloff, Barry Darsow, The Warlord and The Steiner Brothers.

Not a bad resume, huh!
2. On August 25, 1984, The Road Warriors won the coveted AWA Tag Team Titles and began their path to superstar status. What duo did they defeat for the belts?

Answer: Crusher Lisowski and Baron Von Raschke

In the summer of 1984 Paul Ellering brought his red hot duo of The Road Warriors to the AWA where they promptly won the promotions Tag Team Championship. Answer: Larry and Curt Hennig

The feud between The Road Warriors and The Hennigs stemmed from a televised incident where Hawk and Animal defeated Curt and his partner Steve Olosonoski. Not wanting his son to be used as a stepping stone Larry Hennig, now in his late forties, returned to the ring and became Curt's partner. Together father and son pursued the AWA Tag Team Titles but ultimately failed to win them.
4. On July 6, 1985, The Road Warriors wrestled at the very first "Great American Bash" card where they fought the NWA Tag Team Champions. Who did they face that night?

Answer: Ivan Koloff and Krusher Khruschev

Now in the midst of a face turn, it only took Verne Gagne a whole year to realize the fans were gaga over this team, The Warriors fought at the 1985 "Great American Bash". Their opposition that night were the reigning NWA Tag Team Champions of Ivan Koloff and Krusher Khruschev and the bout ended in a wild double disqualification. Actually Ivan and nephew Nikita had won the belts but Ivan received permission from the NWA to have any combination of he, Nikita and Khruschev defend the belts.
5. On April 19, 1986, The Road Warriors won The Very first "Jim Crockett Senior Memorial Tag Team Tournament". They wrestled in three matches, which of the following teams was not one of their opponents?

Answer: Steve Williams and Terry Taylor

After receiving a bye in the opening round, the heavily favored Warriors defeated Mark Youngblood and the legendary Chief Wahoo McDaniel. In the next round they scored a disqualification win over the reigning NWA Tag Team Champions, The Midnight Express. Finally in the grueling tournament final they defeated the equally popular duo of Magnum TA and Ron Garvin to win the cup and the one million dollar prize money.
6. On November 28, 1986, at "Starrcade'86", The Road Warriors battled a longtime rival duo in a dangerous 'Scaffold Match". Who did they face on that card?

Answer: The Midnight Express

The feud between The Warriors and The Midnight Express, Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton, began as a war of words between managers Paul Ellering and Jim Cornette. Although no love was lost between the two teams things really heated up when Ellering slapped Cornette on television. Shortly afterward The Midnights attacked Ellering and The Road Warriors on television, leaving them battered and beaten. Hawk and Animal were out for revenge and got it at "Starrcade '86" by besting their foes in a "Scaffold Match".

Interesting note Hawk wrestled that match while nursing a broken leg and Jim Cornette fell off the structure and blew out both his knees.
7. On May 19, 1990, The Road Warriors wrestled their last high profile match in WCW before departing for the WWF. It was a Six Man Tag Team Match, who was their rather lame partner?

Answer: Norman the Lunatic

On May 19, 1990, The Road Warriors wrestled in a six man tag team match at "Capital Combat '90" and their partner was the late Mike Shaw aka Norman the Lunatic. Their opposition on this night was Kevin Sullivan, Cactus Jack and the late Bam Bam Bigelow.

The Warriors and their buffoon of a partner were victorious and they immediately left for the WWF. Mike Shaw is best remembered for his 1993-1994 stint in the WWF as Bastion Booger; he died in 2010 at age 53.
8. At the 1990 "Survivor Series", Hawk and Animal wrestled on a team captained by then WWF Heavyweight Champion The Ultimate Warrior. Who was the fourth man on this squad that night?

Answer: Kerry Von Erich

On November 22, 1990 The Legion of Doom, as they were called in the WWF, joined then WWF Heavyweight Champion The Ultimate Warrior and then WWF Intercontinental Champion Kerry Von Erich aka The Texas Tornado. Together this formidable team faced Mr Perfect and Ax, Smash and Crush aka Demolition.

This event marked the final appearance of Demolition as a threesome, Ax left the promotion shortly after this match.
9. In the spring of 1998, The Legion of Doom were repackaged with an updated look and called "LOD 2000". Who briefly served as their manager/valet during this time period?

Answer: Sunny

After spending several years apart, Hawk and Animal reunited in WCW in 1996 where they feuded with Harlem Heat and The Steiner Bros. After failing to come to terms with Eric Bischoff on a contract they left and arrived in the WWF in early 1997. After losing the WWF Tag Team Titles to The New Age Outlaws, the duo were repackaged as "LOD 2000".

They added a third member in the ill fated Droz and were managed by the sensuous Sunny. Their angle which paralleled Hawk's real life struggles was that he was battling a substance abuse problem.

This was not well received with the fans and by early 1999, Hawk and Animal were gone.
10. In a May 2003 segment of "Raw", The Legion of Doom made an unexpected appearance and battled the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions on the show. Who were the champions at this time?

Answer: Kane and Rob Van Dam

On May 12, 2003 Hawk and Animal appeared for one last time together as a team on "Raw" where they battled then WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Rob Van Dam. Many were expecting the duo to make a big comeback and win the belts for a third time that night but it did not come to pass. Hawk and Animal were hoping to erase the bad blood and bad memories of their 1997-1999 stint where Hawk was frequently "unfit" to wrestle.

Not wanting to take a chance the usually forgiving Vince McMahon did not offer them a contract. Sadly Hawk died of a heart attack just six months later at the age of 46. Animal would return for one last run with the WWE in 2005 and dedicated that stint to his late partner.
