Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who supplied the voice of Yoda for this radio drama?

Answer: John Lithgow

Frank Oz was the puppeteer and voice of Yoda in the movies. Brock Peters was excellent as the voice of Darth Vader for the radio. Mark Hamill was Luke Skywalker in the movies and the radio drama. Hamill does do a great Yoda impression and voices the part of the Joker in the "Batman" cartoon series.
2. What incident caused Luke to take command of Rouge squadron on Hoth?

Answer: The ambush of reinforcements en route to Hoth.

An Alliance convoy on its way to Hoth was attacked by an Imperial squadron. No one survived. Commander Narra, commander of Red Squadron, was one of the casualties. Luke was then promoted to Commander.
3. What item did Han remind Luke not to forget before they took the Tauntauns out to install the security sensors?

Answer: heavy duty underwear

"Don't forget your heavy duty underwear, kid." Hey, it is an ice planet!
4. The medical droid 2-1B told Luke he had previously practiced medicine where?

Answer: An Imperial clinic

As Luke was leaving the Hoth med center, 2-1B was asking about the evacuation. 2-1B thought it was unfortunate the T-47's had to be destroyed. Luke asked him if he wanted them to fall into Imperial hands. This is when 2-1B revealed his past. Later on in this series, 2-1B attaches Luke's prosthetic hand. Was this the same droid who helped rebuild Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader in "Star Wars: Revenge of The Sith"?
5. C-3P0 was assigned to "talk to the Falcon" to find out what was wrong with the hyperdrive. After communicating with the ship, C-3P0 commented on how rude the Falcon was. Why was this, according to Han?

Answer: Hanging around Han and Chewie

Han warned Threepio he was liable to start talking the same way.
6. What was Han Solo's comment upon seeing Boba Fett on Cloud City?

Answer: "What did somebody do? Kick over a rotten log?"

Darth Vader was not at all pleased with Solo's comments directed towards Boba Fett or himself. "For every insult, you shall scream a dozen times."
7. "See this face? Memorize it. It's gonna be the last thing you ever see!" Who was Lando speaking to?

Answer: Boba Fett

Lando knew his deal with Vader was bad news. The addition of Boba Fett made it worse. It seemed Lando was not afraid of Fett and the two had a heated conversation outside of the room where Han was being tortured. "Is it true that gun of yours only works when someone's back is turned?"
8. According to Han, what was Lando's reason for visiting the cell block after the rebels had been tortured?

Answer: To give Han a free swing at him

Han told Leia that Lando came down "to give me that chance to take a poke at him.". He also let them know they were only bait to lure Skywalker to Cloud City.
9. On Hoth, C-3P0 informs Han that Luke Skywalker has not reported back. Han finds the Deck Officer and asks about Luke. During their conversation, the Deck Officer reveals why he joined the Rebellion. What was that reason?

Answer: He notices things

I always loved this part on the radio show. It was just funny hearing the officer say his line. "I joined up with the rebels because I notice things." This was after Han asked if he noticed it was getting dark and colder outside.
10. Luke had been told by Obi Wan that Vader killed Luke's father. Luke tells this to Vader. What was the Dark Lord of the Sith's response in this radio drama? How was it said?

Answer: "No, Luke, I am your father."

Darth Vader revealed this stunning truth after severing Luke's sword hand, ending their duel on Bespin. The movie version of "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" contains the quote: "No, I am your father.". This is one of the most memorable lines in the history of movies.
