1. How many years did it take to build Disneyland?

Answer: One year

The construction of Disneyland began in July of 1954 and it opened in July of 1955.
2. How many lands are in Disneyland (NOT counting DCA) as of the park's 55th anniversary (in 2010)?

Answer: Eight

Main Street, U.S.A. is based on Walt Disney's own hometown. Tomorrowland is looking to the future. Mickey's Toon Town will allow you to visit your favorite Disney characters at their homes. Fantasyland allows imagination to run wild. Frontierland is showing guests into the wildest rides in the wilderness! Adventureland is a land to avoid if you hate snakes! New Orleans Square is where you may here this; "aye there matey, avast these landlubbing pirates!" Critter Country will let you make a splash and visit the Hundred Acre Woods.
3. Where can you find Dinosaurs at Disneyland?

Answer: Between Tomorrowland Train Station and Main Street U.S.A. Train Station

See the Grand Canyon as we know it today and then travel back in time to when Dinosaurs ruled the land.
4. What do the toy blocks in the Darling children's bedroom spell on the first turn of Peter Pan's Flight?

Answer: Disney

This is also the only ride at Disneyland to hang from the ceiling!

Answer: Casey Junior

According to the original (1st edition) "Disneyland Guidebook", Casey Junior was built but guests were unable to ride the attraction on opening day.
6. What does Disneyland sell the least of each year?

Answer: Chewing Gum

Chewing gum is not sold AT ALL in the park because Walt didn't want guests to be stepping in gum all day. Pineapple slices can be found outside of the Tiki Room at the Dole stand. They can also be found, along with pickles, at various food carts around the park. (There's one on Main Street, U.S.A. near the lockers, in Tomorrowland on the way to Space Mountain, in the shop as you exit The Jungle Cruise, and across from Splash Mountain near the canoes, just to name a few.) Lollipops can be found all over the park in various shops, including the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. and The Star Trader in Tomorrowland.
7. How many horses are available for guests to ride on at the King Arthur Carousel in Fantasyland?

Answer: 68

All of them are unique and they all move!
8. How many types of vehicles will take you up and down Main Street, U.S.A.?

Answer: Four

Guests have their choice of riding on a fire engine, horse-drawn carriage, horseless carriage, or the omnibus.
9. How do the safety bars in The Haunted Mansion's "doom buggies" lower for guests?

Answer: The ghost host 'lowers it for you'

As your ghost host warns, "Do NOT pull down on the safety bar please, I will lower it for you." Although, if he does not do this, there is a cast member who will lower it as your doom buggy passes by.
10. Where can you find a cemetery at Disneyland?

Answer: Storybook Land Canal Boats

You can also find cemeteries on Tom Sawyer's Island, outside of The Haunted Mansion, and at Frontierland Shootin' Exposition.
