Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This character travelled to Bethany, a suburb of Jerusalem, and was eventually joined by Whit, and they witnessed Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead.

Answer: Lucy Schultz

Lucy was doing a lot of work during the week, and that included Sundays. Whit noticed that Lucy had missed church on Sunday mornings for a long time, because of her work. Lucy told Whit that someone has to do the work for God, and Whit sent her on a personal odyssey to Bethany to learn that doing things for God, isn't the same as being with him. Lazarus' sister Martha said the same thing while trying to prepare a meal for Jesus, and the guests at her house.

She was mad that her sister Mary wasn't helping her, and was just sitting listening to Jesus. Jesus rebuked Martha for her behavior, telling her that Mary chose the right thing.

This story is found in Luke chapter 10, verses 38-42. This episode is a two part episode titled "An Adventure in Bethany."
2. This character and his father took an Imagination Station adventure to the land of the Egyptians, during the time of Moses. Though apart, they endured the Passover, and drew closer as father and son.

Answer: Jimmy Barclay

Jimmy wanted to spend his birthday with his father in the Imagination Station, but believed that his father would be too busy to come with him. Because of this, Jimmy entered the Imagination Station alone. His father George, came to Whit's End to get Jimmy, so they could at least have a quick lunch, before George returned to work.

He asked Whit to get Jimmy out of the Imagination Station, but Whit refused. Whit told George to go get Jimmy himself if he wanted him out. George went in and was unable to pull Jimmy away from his adventure, but did eventually remember how important spending time with his son actually was.

He was reminded of it after Jimmy was taken by the Egyptians, and they were separated during the Passover. Their odyssey is linked to the Biblical account found in Exodus, starting in chapter 10, and ending in chapter 14.

This is also a two part episode, and is titled "Moses: The Passover."
3. This young man witnessed the final days of Christ, including the crucifixion, in one of the first adventures in the Imagination Station.

Answer: Digger Digwillow

Tom Riley came to Whit needing his advice on a student in his Sunday School class. Digger was not enthusiastic about learning about Jesus and the stories in the Bible, and Tom was at the end of his patience with the lad. Whit created an adventure for the Imagination Station, and convinced Digger to go into it. Digger spent his time in Jerusalem during the last hours of Jesus' life.

After witnessing what happened to Jesus, Digger became more aware of the importance of learning the stories in his Sunday School class.

This two part episode is titled "The Imagination Station."
4. This character ended up in the hospital after attempting to go on an odyssey about death.

Answer: John Avery Whitaker

After a conversation with Connie about death, Whit decided to make an Imagination Station adventure on the subject. Whit told Connie that because of Jesus, death for a Christian, is nothing to fear. Unfortunately for Whit, he did too well in making the death adventure, and he ended up in a coma in the hospital. Connie attempted the adventure first, but because she was young and didn't have any life experience with death, the program didn't work.

When Whit activated the program, he encountered his late wife, Jenny, and their son Jerry, who was killed in the Vietnam War. Because of those encounters, and his extended life experiences, Whit was too enthralled in his adventure, and he didn't want to leave it, and slipped into a coma. Fortunately for him, Tom Riley was there to get him to the hospital, where he made a full recovery.

This is also a two part episode, and it is titled "The Mortal Coil."
5. She travelled with Eugene Meltsner to Bethlehem for the birth of Christ, and encountered a Roman captain, and a zealot named Judah.

Answer: Connie Kendall

Connie and Eugene were arguing about the validity of the typical manger scene that is traditionally set up during the Christmas season. Eugene told Connie that the idyllic picture portrayed in the usual nativity scene was incorrect. When Whit backed up Eugene's supposition, Connie was shocked. Whit sent both of them into the Imagination Station for both of them to get an accurate picture of what happened, and both find out that Eugene's expectations about the birth of Jesus, were correct.

This three part episode is called "Back to Bethlehem."
6. He entered the Imagination Station and joined Christopher Columbus on his journey to the new world.

Answer: Lawrence Hodges

Lawrence was known for having a very wild imagination. Because of this, he was always up for something adventurous. After hearing one of his teachers in school say that not everyone liked Christopher Columbus, Lawrence went to Whit's End to go on an adventure in the Imagination Station to find out why. Lawrence befriended and was ultimately betrayed, by King Ferdinand's top adviser, Don Rodrigo Delaveaga, who turned out to be Portuguese.

In the end, Lawrence and Columbus finally reach the new world, and Lawrence learns that Columbus was a great man of God.

This episode is titled "Columbus: The Grand Voyage."
7. He unknowingly convinced Thomas Edison to stop experimenting, which caused a dark future within the Imagination Station

Answer: Sam Johnson

Sam is unsure of Elliot's ability to succeed, and suggests that Elliot stop experimenting, and just be a kid. Sam mentioned the incident to Whit, who sends Sam on a journey through the Imagination Station. Sam encounters Thomas, a young boy at the time, and tells him the same thing. Sam finds out Thomas is the famous inventor, but by then it's too late. The Imagination Station sends him into what that future would have been like if Thomas had stopped experimenting. Fortunately for Sam, it was just part of the program, and he comes out of the Imagination Station, and everything is normal.

He took the knowledge from that odyssey and convinced his friend Elliot, not to give up.

This episode is called "The Potential in Elliot."
8. This young lady's odyssey goes through various times through Christmas, teaching her about the true meaning of Christmas
