Robert Leroy Parker (1866-1908) better known as Butch Cassidy and Harry Alonzo Longabaugh (1867-1908) and better known as the Sundance Kid were outlaws in the Old American West. After a career as outlaws and consistently being pursued by law officers they moved to Bolivia were it is reported they were killed.

The 1969 movie "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford depicted the outlaws careers.
2. Cliff

Dr. Heathcliff "Cliff" Huxtable (Bill Cosby) and Clair Banks Huxtable (Phylicia Rashad) portrayed the husband and wife team on the popular TV series "The Cosby Show" (1984-1992). The show depicted the on-going life and situations of an upper-class African-American family with their four children.
3. Baby

Frances "Baby" Houseman (Jennifer Grey) and Johnny (Patrick Swayze b. 1952-d. 2009) portrayed the main characters in the 1987 romantic dance drama film "Dirty Dancing". An Academy Award was won for Best Original Song. Jennifer Grey is the daughter of the Academy Award winning actor, Joel Grey.

The American television sitcom "The Honeymooners" (1951-1955) featured Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) and his sharp-tongued wife Alice Kramden (Audrey Meadows). Pert Kelton played the role of Alice in the first seven episodes. The show was mainly set in the Kramdens' kitchen in a working class neglected building in Brooklyn. Ralph is a bus driver and his best friend who lives upstairs is Ed Norton, a sewer worker. Ed is married to Thelma "Trixie" Norton. Ralph and Ed enjoy bowling and playing pool.

Norm Peterson (George Wendt) and Cliff Clavin (John Ratzenberger) appeared in all episodes during the 11 seasons of the American sitcom "Cheers" (1982-1993). Norm was a regular at the bar and an occasionally employed accountant. Later in the series his occupation was changed to house painter and interior decorator. Cliff was a postal worker and the regular know-it-all at the bar. Together they discussed unusual and often demented wisdom at the bar from half-drained beer glasses.

"The Flintstones" (1960-1966) was an animated TV series depicting life in the Stone Age. Fred Flintstone and his best friend and next door neighbour is Barney Rubble. The characters in "The Flintstones" were based on the characters of the TV series "The Honeymooners" of the 1950s.

Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John) and the main characters in the 1978 musical romantic comedy "Grease". The movie depicts the life of various Rydell High School students during the 1950s.
14. Starsky

"Starsky and Hutch" was originally an American television cop series from 1975-1979. Det. Dave Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser) and Det. Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson (David Soul) were two streetwise cops who drove around in a red and white Ford Torino and used the help of a police snitch in Huggy Bear (Antonio Fargas).

A movie was made in 2004 of the same name starring Ben Stiller as Starsky and Owen Wilson as Hutch.
15. Thelma

Thelma (Geena Davis) and Louise (Susan Sarandon) are friends who embark on a road trip in Louise's 1966 Ford Thunderbird convertible. They just want to get way from their dreary lifestyles. Unfortunately they shoot and kill a man who tried to rape Thelma.

After a number of other disastrous situations they are pursued by the police and eventually drive off the Grand Canyon rather than spent time in jail. The 1991 movie "Thelma & Louise" received six Academy Award nominations winning one for Best Original Screenplay. Both Geena and Susan were nominated for Best Actress.
