WWE "Smackdown" June 27, 2002 Trivia Quiz

Answer: Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon came to the ring to talk to the audience because he wanted to everyone to meet the man who made Hulk Hogan tap out at "King Of The Ring". Vince then told Kurt Angle to come to the ring. Kurt then said that he was the poster child for ruthless aggression. Kurt said that he was so aggressive that he defeated The Undertaker the previous week and he defeated the immortal Hulk Hogan at "King Of The Ring".

As he said this the crowd chanted "you suck". Angle said that apparently it didn't matter to the audience what he accomplished because, according to him, they sucked, too.

After he said that to the audience, he then took of his wig and headgear and let his bald head shine for the whole world to see. Angle then said that he was in the mood to teach anyone in the locker-room the meaning of ruthless aggression, that is if anyone was brave enough to face him in the ring.

Answer: John Cena

John Cena, a graduate from Ohio Valley Wrestling, accepted Kurt Angle's challenge. When Angle asked Cena what made him think that he could come out and challenge the best in the business, and Cena replied "ruthless aggression". With that, Cena attacked Angle, and the match began. Cena wrestled good, but not good enough to beat Angle. Angle finally pinned him after giving the rookie an "Olympic Slam".

After the match, Cena extended his hand to Angle, who just laughed and walked away.

Answer: The Undertaker

After his match with Angle, John Cena was congratulated by Rikishi, Faarooq, and Billy Kidman. But Cena was amazed when The Undertaker approached him and shook his hand. Taker told Cena that he wrestled good. As Taker walked away, Cena was visibly excited by the Deadman's praise.

Answer: Hardcore Holly and Big Valbowski

Billy and Chuck, accompanied by Rico, defended the WWE Tag Team Championship against Hardcore Holly and Big Valbowski. Holly and Valbowski almost won the titles, but Rico interfered causing Billy and Chuck to retain their titles.

Answer: Lance Storm

Lance Storm came to the ring and addressed the audience. He said he was sick of the prejudice exhibited by the referees against Canadian wrestlers. Storm vowed to defeat an American wrestler in a match. He challenged any American wrestler to come out and face him.

Answer: Mark Henry

As soon as Lance Storm made the challenge, Mark Henry answered it. The World's Strongest Man began physically assaulting Storm, giving Storm no chance to defeat him. But Mark Henry made a fatal mistake, he missed a body press from the second rope, which allowed Storm to give him a "Springboard Dropkick" and then a kick to the face, which allowed Storm to pin Henry.

After the match Christian congratulated Storm on his victory.

Answer: The Undertaker

The Undertaker came to the ring to get a few things straight. He said that he has the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Title, and that means that no other man on the face of the Earth can lay claim to that title. He said that he was the best there is. Taker then said that he was supposed to defend his title against Triple H one-on-one at "King of the Ring", and he wondered why The Rock thought he could get involved in the match.

Then Taker said that he had some good news and some bad news. The good news was that on July 11, everyone should set their VCRs, because that would mark the return of The Rock to "SmackDown".

The bad news was that on that day, he would beat The Rock down and make him pay. Taker then said that he sure hoped that The Rock was going to watch "Raw" the following week when he would defeat Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match. Taker said that The Rock should expect the worse when he gets through with him in July.

Answer: Kurt Angle

As Taker was talking about how he would destroy The Rock, Kurt Angle came out and said that all Taker does is talk, but doesn't back up his words. Angle said that he himself is a man of action. In response to this Taker called Angle a punk, which made Angle question Taker about accepting Jeff Hardy's challenge to a Ladder Match.

But Angle said that if Taker somehow survived the Ladder Match he wanted to face The Undertaker on "Smackdown" for the title. Taker then replied that his motto was "why put off beating someone until next week when he can beat them now". Angle said that he wasn't ready because he just had a Tune-Up Match earlier in the show. Taker laughed at that, saying that Angle was almost defeated by a rookie. Angle then proposed his challenge to Taker again, in which the Deadman readily accepted.

Then Angle said that they should put their differences aside, and then he asked Taker if he could hold the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. Reluctantly, Taker let Angle hold the title, after which Angle promptly put the champion in an "Ankle Lock".

Answer: Test

Rikishi faced off against Test. During the match, Test was verbally abusing referee Mike Chioda, and finally he was pushed into him by Rikishi. Chioda didn't see Rikishi do this. So when Test pinned Rikishi, Chioda didn't make the three count. Instead, he disqualified Test.

After the match, Rikishi gave Test a "Stinkface". Lance Storm and Christian came to Test's aid, but were met with kicks to the face.

Answer: Jamie Noble and Tajiri

Jamie Noble and Tajiri, accompanied by Nidia, faced off against The Hurricane and Billy Kidman. The Hurricane and Kidman won when Kidman delivered the "Shooting Star Press" to Tajiri and pinned him for the win.

Answer: Faarooq and Randy Orton

Faarooq and Randy Orton faced off against Reverend D-Von and Deacon Bautista. Unfortunately, Faarooq and Orton lost when Bautista gave Orton a powerful clothesline and pinned him for the win.

Answer: Dawn Marie

Dawn Marie told Torrie and Stacy that at "Diva's Undressed" she would definitely show them that she was sexier than them.

Answer: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho said in a backstage interview that he would finish off Hulk Hogan the same way he finished off Edge. Jericho said that he would give Hogan the "Lionsault" and put him in the "Walls of Jericho", and then beat his head in with a steel chair.

Answer: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho faced off against Hulk Hogan. Hogan and Jericho fought hard, but unfortunately Jericho was disqualified when he used a steel chair on Hogan.

Answer: Edge

As Jericho continued to assault Hogan with the steel chair, Edge, who returned from his injury, came to Hogan's rescue. Edge delivered a breathtaking "Spear" to Jericho. As "Smackdown" went off the air, Hogan and Edge were posing for the sold out crowd.
