In this episode, Francine and Fern get lost on Moose Mountain after Francine tries to take a shortcut to get back on her schedule, as she is trying to get to the top of the mountain in the fastest time possible in order to beat her family's record time for the hike.

At first the two girls argue and ignore each other, however as time goes on they discover they need each other to make it out of the forest and off the mountain safely.
