Beauty thinks her name is stupid, especially as she thinks she is NOT beautiful. Her father, when Beauty was born, decided on her name as he thought she was a very pretty baby. Beauty's mother told her daughter she thought it was a silly name, but of course, she didn't want to disagree with Dad, even back then.

2. Who hosted the party Beauty went to?

Beauty had her hair done specially, but she looked worse than before and Skye made fun of her. She was called Corkscrew, a new addition to the cruel nicknames: Weirdo, Wobblybum, Brainbox and Ugly.

3. What did Beauty's mum sell to pay for the mirror Beauty broke?

Answer: Her diamond collar

Beauty's dad bought it for her, but she never wore it so she sold it to pay for a replacement mirror. When Beauty's birthday came around, however, Beauty's dad wanted Mum to wear it. When Mum said she lost it, Dad got mad and called her names and slapped her. That was when everything started to go wrong.
